One of our favorite things about being part of the Mint Hill community is seeing how much everyone cares about their pets—and about each other.

That's why we're excited to introduce our new Paws on the Hill Community Pet Connections Board, now located in the lobby at Mint Hill Animal Hospital!

This community board is available to help with things like:
🐾 Lost Pets
🐾 Found Pets
🐾 Pets Looking for Loving Homes
🐾 Community Pet Resources
🐾 Local Rescue Information..and other pet-related community connections.

If you have something you'd like to share, we'd love to help spread the word!

Simply bring us:
📸 A clear photo
👤 Your name
📞 Your phone number
📍 The general area or neighborhood involved (for example, Mint Hill, Matthews, Albemarle Road, etc.)

We'll proudly display it on our Community Pet Connections Board, and when appropriate, we'll also feature it on our page to help it reach even more neighbors.

Our hope is simple—to help reunite families, support local rescues, and connect pets with loving homes while bringing our community a little closer together.

The secret's out... and we couldn't be more excited to share the news! 🎉

Please join us in giving a huge Mint Hill Animal Hospital welcome to our newest veterinarian, Dr. Katherine Bassler, who officially joins our team on Tuesday, June 16, 2026!

Dr. Bassler grew up in Waxhaw, NC, earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, and recently graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. After returning home to North Carolina with her fiancé, David, and her two cats, Pika and Poca, she chose Mint Hill Animal Hospital as the place to begin her veterinary career, and we're so lucky to have her!

When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys reading, live music, cooking, baking, and spending time with her cats.

We're thrilled to have Dr. Bassler join our family and can't wait for all of you to get to know her. If you see her around the hospital this week, please take a moment to introduce yourself and give her a warm Mint Hill welcome!
