It's National Veterinary Technician Week, and we're showing some extra love to the amazing people who help care for our patients every day!

Here are two of our wonderful veterinary technicians at Caring Hearts Animal Hospital! Our techs do so much behind the scenes, from comforting nervous pets and assisting with procedures to monitoring anesthesia, educating pet parents, and making sure every patient gets the attention and care they deserve.
They bring so much knowledge, patience, and compassion to our hospital, and we couldn't do what we do without them. We're grateful for all the hard work they put in, even on the busiest days!

Meet Pixie and Romeo. Client had to say goodbye to their family dog, so both girls came across these two precious babies. Pixie is at College with her mom and gets to be the soccer team #1 fan! And Romeo was found behind the Target in Matthews, he was just supposed to be a foster until they found him a home but the other daughter fell in love with him, and he gets to know what a loving home is and even gets to see his “cousin” when she comes home to visit from college. It’s so great to see the daughters get their first dogs on their own and continue to bring them to Caring Hearts ❤️

It is Customer Service Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize the team members who help make each visit feel calm, caring, and organized.
In veterinary medicine, great client service happens throughout the whole hospital. Our Veterinary Assistants and Registered Veterinary Technicians are often right there beside pets and their families, helping with patient care, answering questions, relaying important updates, supporting the doctors, and offering reassurance when people are worried or stressed.

Their work takes skill, compassion, patience, and a whole lot of heart. We are grateful for the people who help pets feel cared for and help families feel supported every step of the way.

October is Adopt-A-Dog Month, and we are celebrating all the wonderful dogs who find their way into loving homes. Adopting a dog can change a life in the best way, for both the pet and the family who welcomes them. Whether your dog came from a shelter, rescue, foster home, or another path, we know how special that bond can be.
