Apollo loved his tooth brushing! The best way to continue a habit of tooth brushing, is to ensure that your pet is comfortable and not fearful of the toothbrushing process.

There a few things you can do to make things easier.

🦷 Get toothpaste that tastes good! A great brand we recommend is C.E.T., they make toothpastes for dogs and cats and have a wide range of flavors including beef, poultry, seafood, and so much more.

🦷 Introduce tooth brushing slowly, never rush your pet. The first few sessions can be as simple as allowing your pet to get used to the toothpaste on the toothbrush. Introducing it more and more as they get more comfortable.

🦷 Provide lots of positive reinforcement!

Meet Dr. Browns newest fur baby Rufus!

Rufus is a six month old black lab who was rescued by Dr. Brown after he fell out of the bed of a truck. When he fell his hind leg was badly injured and required amputation to provide Rufus with the best quality of life! Dr. Brown fell in love with him and became his forever home!

Check out these pre and post op images from a recent dental procedure! This pet came in for a routine dental cleaning and to have two teeth extracted. This pet had the 2nd molars on both sides extracted ( #110 and #210).

As you can see in the post-extraction radiographs, both teeth were completely removed, root and all.
