We have met the dogs and cats at this facility and all of them are absolute sweethearts. We even showcased a few of them for you on Saturday so you could see not only how beautiful they are, but their loving, sweet, quirky little personalities. Today is all about giving, honoring Byrd’s memory with our FREE concert & fundraiser benefit tonight and this awesome opportunity this morning. Teaming up with volunteers from Vindicated Pit Bull Rescue to bring homemade meals to the dogs and cats at the City Shelter was fantastic. Getting one on one interactions with each of the adoptable pups and cats was a great experience. We cannot say thank you enough to Kim and Jasmine at the City of Manassas Animal Control and Shelter for coordinating this cool opportunity with us.

Below are pictures and videos of the five dogs and two cats that are available right now to be your best friend. An adorable German Shepherd with a permanent smile and d***y ear named Zelda, Eddie the cruiser a low rider old man with a heart of gold , two sweet, affectionate beautiful beagle pups, a little girl and little boy who were found as strays, and Ray, the blind gentle hearted Pitbull mix who will steal your heart. And then we got to play with cookie and Paige, the adorable cats.

This was a very cool way to give back and show love to some shelter animals. The Vindicated team brought enough food for everyone to have lunch and dinner on them. Thank you so very much.

🚨Urgent recall for Adequan for dogs and horses 🚨

Urgent Medical RECALL update:

American Regent has initiated a recall on specific lots of ADEQUAN CANINE 100MG/ML.

These products are being recalled due to the presence of glass fibers found during internal testing of retained samples. The administration of an intramuscular injectable product containing particulate matter, such as glass fibers, may result in local irritation, swelling, inflammation, injection site pain, infection or abscesses.

To date, American Regent, Inc. has not received any reports of adverse events related to the recalled lots.

If you purchased a product with the affected lot code, please dispose of any unused, affected product at your earliest convenience following the FDA Guidelines for safe and proper disposal of unused medications. Please contact the pharmacy you purchased the product from to receive guidance on refunds and/or replacements.

If your Adequan bottle does not match the recalled lot code, the product is not affected, and you may continue administering it as prescribed.

Keeping your pet healthy shouldn’t be out of reach.

Join Coastal Humane Society for a low-cost vaccination clinic on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Good Dog Retreat in Manteo. Affordable vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats, along with heartworm testing for dogs.

Please bring dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. Cash, checks and Venmo will be accepted.

We help people help their pets.

We are thrilled to bring back this Pet Supply Drive for the month of August! Please reach out if your office is interested in being a drop off location or wants to have a donation box. There will be a FREE concert on Saturday, August 22nd, at 7 PM at Sinistral Brewing in Old Town Manassas. We hope this is the most successful donation drive yet! There are so many in need, we are ready to help.
