I suppose I moonlighted as a C.S.I. (canine shenanigans investigator) over the weekend. I walked into the scene of doggie crimes to find:
- 1 pink teddy plushie torn to shreds
- 1 bathroom trash bin overturned
- 1 Barbie doll hiding part way under the sofa
- 4 very cute doggie suspects

Unfortunately, Barbie appeared to be in shock and would not give a statement, and all the suspects in the lineup looked far too cute to be involved! 😂

Just took a couple of days off to visit with some friends who were on vacation & joined them for an amazing shelling trip with Family Water Adventures. I found my first helmet shell & a bunch of gorgeous whelks! 🐚

Even my kitty was impressed with all the shells we found!

You might have guessed that the weeks of Christmas & New Year's are the busiest time of year for pet sitters!

Luckily, I have a very understanding family that's happy to celebrate before or after the holidays, a helpful husband who's willing to pick up the slack at home and remind me to take care of myself, and wonderful clients that make me feel loved & appreciated! Plus, I'm never short on holiday cheer when I get to hang out with all these sweet, fluffy friends. 🐶🐱

I wish you all a Christmas that's merry & a new year that's bright and full of joy!

The aptly named Lovey thinks she's a little lap dog - she loves to cuddle! Her sister LouLou is just as sweet and likes showing off her favorite toys when I visit. I just adore both of these silly doodle girls 💕🐾
