Logan Haus Kennels Importing / breeding / training working dogs for high level operations
School for dog trainers

Logan Haus Kennels is located in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley in southeast West Virginia. We specialize in breeding and raising world class working police and sport dogs. Our puppy program prepares the dog for every possible environmental stress he will encounter on the street. We start with the highest quality dogs available and only breed dogs that have passed the most rigorous health and tem

perament testing. It is our belief that in order to produce the best working dogs possible, you must first start with dogs that possess an almost unmanageable amount of drive, power, and courage for your breeding program, and then raise the puppies with absolute commitment and attention to detail during their first year. Our foundation brood stock comes from the best KNPV lines imported directly from Holland. Our puppies begin training at 3 days old with bio-sensor stressing, thermal stressing, and different tactile positioning. From about 3 weeks of age they begin the exposure and imprinting that continues throughout their first year until they enter into their working home.

Here’s a very special breeding we’ve been beyond excited about!
Reno was an extremely nice PH1 titled Dutch import we had here many years ago. He was a direct son of Django and he was an amazing tier 1 multi purpose K9. One of the highest quality dogs we’ve ever had in our kennel over the past 30 years.

Bella is a super quality Dutch import female with an outstanding working pedigree.

We’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use Reno semen on a super quality female that’s completely unrelated to our current genetics in our breeding program and Bella II presented us with that opportunity!

This breeding was done specifically to produce dogs for our own breeding program here in the future. So far this whole litter is looking extremely nice.
We will be keeping a male and a couple females from this awesome litter.
There is a male in this litter that is something special at the moment. Time will tell if he’ll be as nice as Reno , but so far he’s a hammer!
I’m super excited about this litter and I think it’ll help bring in the type of outcross that we’ve been looking for here.

Can anyone explain why half of the internet thinks it’s not ok to feed meat to carnivores?
For well over 30 years we’ve been feeding bones and raw meat to every dog in our kennel from the time they are about 3-4 weeks old.
Over those 30+ years we’ve imported literally thousands of working dogs from Europe , and we’ve raised several thousand puppies here.
We’ve fed over 200 tons of raw meat to thousands of different dogs for over 30 years with not one single problem.
We have fed beef, chicken, turkey, deer, elk, pork, rabbit, pheasant, fish, etc with absolutely no issues.
This should come as no surprise to most intelligent people who understand that other canine carnivores like coyotes and wolves have also been known to eat raw meat on some occasions.
The internet outrage over a dog eating raw meat is an amazing phenomenon for me to see really. I can’t imagine a single person on the planet who thinks this is somehow bad for dogs. Yet, I read dozens of comments on every post we make about how bad, dangerous, and unhealthy it is. 🤦‍♂️

6 week old Yeti x Layla puppy. I love this litter so far.
If you have to ask why we put our puppies on back ties for a few minutes each day , then you’re probably not the right person for one of these dogs.
Kindly save yourself the embarrassment of making ridiculous comments about something you don’t understand.

On today’s snack menu we have sliced beef femur heads. These thin slices are awesome for chewing and usually have quite a bit of meat left on them.

As a PSA to new followers, RAW bones (yes even the chicken wings in the last video) are fine for these puppies to eat.

All of our puppies eat a mix of raw and kibble from a very young age.
This often starts with ground beef at 3-4 weeks old. They typically eat a variety of ground meats before they leave, often including beef, chicken, turkey, venison, lamb, or bison.
Chicken wings, turkey necks, beef marrow bones and similar are typically introduced around 6 weeks. They make great snacks for while the puppies are on a back-tie.

Three puppies happily eating chicken wings after their baths, one puppy who just wants to bark, and a terrier who is anxiously waiting for her turn to do clean-up patrol. 😂
