Just take a moment to listen to all the different things happening in this environment.

There are tons of strange noises—sounds that are completely foreign to a dog. That hissing? You know it’s coming from the rides. But your dog doesn’t.

Understanding how a dog thinks, behaves, and communicates is half the battle when it comes to training them to reach their full potential. What I like to call a “10/10 dog,” as my clients often hear me say.

Very few dogs can truly master this level of chaos—remaining free from leash pulling, holding a down-stay, staying in the proper walking position, and maintaining a calm, obedient mindset.

Ren is well-tempered German Shepherd available for placement in either an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or Service Dog Handler Program — dog and handler trained together.

She will be placed with:
-Private training sessions

Want to really test your dog’s obedience?

Try walking them through the absolute circus that is the WV State Fair.

Screaming kids. Deep-fried food everywhere. Music blaring. People bumping into you every two seconds. Carneys yelling at you when you walk buy. It's pure sensory overload.

And yet, we’re not just asking our dogs to survive the chaos without a total meltdown.

We’re asking them to:
-Stay calm and under control
-Avoid sniffing, licking, or bothering anyone
-Walk nicely on leash (no sled-dog mode)
-Wait patiently in long lines full of people
-Hold positions like they’re on a mission
-Ignore that freshly dropped corndog right in front of them

Free for Eligible Clients:
This group class is FREE for any clients who have completed Session-Based Training with Owners and passed temperament testing.

✨ One of the many benefits of training with us: Enjoy FREE group classes for your dog’s lifetime!

Optional ESA & Service Dog Certifications:
ESA/Service Dog certifications will be available at this group class (optional, not required).
If you’d like to certify your dog, please speak with us beforehand about public access manners testing and specialty skills to ensure readiness for certification.
We will be walking dogs who wish to certify through Lowes after working them at the park!

Session Based Training with Owners

Balto finished up his Basic On/Off leash training last week.

When I first met him he was extremely jumpy causing his owners to be scratched up constantly. Had very little impulse control.
He was absolutely terrible on the leash.

Over the last month or so he has made tremendous progress, especially on the leash.
He has learned to recall 100% of the time, placeboard, and downstay foundation has been laid.

Of course it takes the owner to have the skills, and knowledge to follow through and maintain these skills.

As I always say a "untrained owner & a trained dog still equals a untrained dog"!

Luckily Balto has a wonderfully motivated owner, who has some skills in her toolbox now!

Excited to see him at group classes as he grows.

Grayson finished up his training last week. He is a wonderful dog, that has made some serious progression over the 5 weeks he was in training.

Walking with minimal leash pulling, recalling 100%, learning stay, house manors, etc.

You will be amazed the progression your dog can make when you follow through, and listen to what we tell you!
