🔍 🐾 It's Check the Chip Day! Time to Make Sure Your Pet's Microchip Info is Up-to-Date!

Step 1: Find the Microchip Number
- Check your pet's paperwork from the vet/shelter
- Look for a 9-15 digit number (usually starts with 900, 985, or 956)
- Don't have it? Any vet or shelter can scan your pet to get the number

Step 2: Use the Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool
- Go to www.aaha.org/petmicrochiplookup
- Enter your pet's microchip number
- This FREE tool searches ALL major registries at once!

Step 3: Update Your Info
- The lookup will show which registry your chip is registered with
- Contact that registry directly to update your contact info

Helpful Tips:
✅ Update your info whenever you move or change phone numbers
✅ Keep a photo of your pet's microchip paperwork handy

Remember: A microchip is only as good as the current contact information! Take a few minutes today to check yours! 💙

The 100th State Fair of West Virginia will be here before we know it. That means the GMYLA Youth Livestock Sale will be here soon! Our exhibitors are already starting the final push for their preparations for the fair.

Please join us on Monday, August 11, at 1:00 pm at the Small Livestock Arena at the State Fair for our 29th Annual GMYLA Youth Livestock Sale. Our exhibitors would love for you to join us.

We will be closing early each day during the WV State Fair (August 7–16).

Mon-Friday: 8am-3pm
Saturday: 8am-12pm

📞 Please call ahead to arrange prescription pickups — we’re happy to accommodate after-hours pickup if needed.

🚨 Emergency care will still be available throughout the fair for both established clients and those visiting for the fair.
