We train these departments k9 teams to be successful on the road, to have reliable dogs with “REAL WORLD” success. Our approach is giving the dog a real life picture and creating scenarios that are of high probability and sometimes out of the box. When a dog is sent in for a bite, it MUST engage. I have always, for 16 years now, preached about the importance of having a reliable dog and what bad could happen if a dog fails to engage when sent. I take this training very serious because it’s my job to make sure that every team that I work with is safer and better for it after I’ve left. T2 comes from a LONG pedigree of PH-1/police dogs. He has a great hunt drive, very stable, highly driven and motivated dog. He hits like a freight train during bite work and has no sense of self preservation when it comes to throwing himself into environments that are chaotic. Bite is full with a pushing grip, countering when pressure is applied. He is SUPER neutral to dogs and people and has the temperament to be around kids even (many videos of him being handled by 6 year old girl and 11 year old boy). Shows in 4-H. He is highly driven, has more heart and true civilness than 99% of dogs out there. He has REAL WORLD experience with drug finds, cadaver, bites, and more! He is the exact photo copy of the dog of my dreams. I’ve been waiting for the day I could reproduce his dad Tripp, and this is it! T2 has already had proven offspring doing sport and police k9 work.

Duck/Goose hunting: T2 has Duck hunted for 3 seasons with me on pleasure hunts and guided hunts. He has no problem retrieving geese and ducks in even the most freezing of temperatures. He can cross water gaps and search for birds, do directionals, as well as handle many guns going off at once in close quarters. He has been a super effective dog for helping us recover wounded/killed ducks and geese. Videos available upon request. Fun fact: his first ever retrieve was a banded goose 30-40 yards off shore into a lake.

Kyra was one of those dogs that had a history of attacking other dogs. She would see a dog and immediately go into her mode. She would lunge, snap, bark, you name it. We worked with her in only 2 lessons and already made huge leaps and bounds. She’s never been able to be relatively calm in close vicinity of another dog. She’s never been able to sit next to another dog. With proper training she was able to get to this point. Is she even close to being done with her training? Absolutely not. She still needs to generalize her behavior in many different situations and settings. She needs hundreds of reps and experiences before she can even remotely be trusted but she’s going down the right path! If you have a dog that just can not behave around another dog and you want help managing the problem give us a call or message us today. We are saving dogs lives by managing these behaviors. We specialize in the most extreme cases of dog reactivity and aggression. As a matter of fact we are the GO TO for many other dog trainers in Michigan who just can’t or won’t work with a dog that has bad reactivity and or aggression. Open class Enrollment for July 13th class!!

Our May class is Full and we are now filling spots for our July class. Don’t wait until this class fills give us a shout today and we will be glad to answer any questions you have about the class! This class is perfect for a dog that’s needs to learn obedience, leash manners, and be socialized. Our class goes over a lot of dog training principles and techniques. We cover a lot of helpful information if you plan on furthering your dogs training beyond the basics. You will get a lot out of this class.

Class is held at Tractor supply in Greenville on Mondays at 6 pm. Classes are 5 weeks long and come with a certificate once completed.

Obedience class is open! I only have 3 spots left for our May 18th class. Class will be 5 weeks long every Monday from 6-7pm. We will cover sit, down, stay, leave it, come when called, socialization and leash manners. This class is a MUST for young dogs that you want to have a great foundation. Not only are we doing obedience training but I’ll be teaching you the CORRECT way to build on your dogs training using marker training, operant conditioning, classic conditioning and much more.
