We had the privilege of helping Spock get the care and surgery she needs to live a long, happy life. Check out her story! ♥️🐾

✨ Meet Spock ✨

This little girl has already overcome so much in her short life. She was found by a caring community member, limping, in pain, and struggling to walk. They rushed her to the vet, but quickly realized her medical needs were more than they could take on alone.

That’s when our incredible network of animal lovers stepped in. 💙

Spock was diagnosed with a rare condition that caused blood flow to be reduced to one of the sockets in her leg. For most stray kittens, this heartbreaking situation would mean amputation or euthanasia. But everyone who met Spock knew right away — she is something special. 💎

The veterinarians at Town & Country Animal Clinic agreed: Spock deserves a chance. They’ve offered to perform a procedure called a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) to save her leg and give her the pain-free, happy future she deserves. This will be the very first time a Saved by Zade kitty has received this surgery!

Spock will need weeks of foster care, rest, and even kitten physical therapy as she recovers. We are committed to giving her the intensive aftercare she needs — and to sharing updates with you every step of the way. 🐾💌

Now, we need your help.
This surgery and extended recovery care are costly, especially while we continue to support the many other cats and kittens who need us. But together, as a community, we can make sure Spock gets her chance to heal, thrive, and grow into the happy, healthy cat she was meant to be.

💖 Please consider donating to help Spock and kitties like her. Every gift makes a difference.

From all of us at Saved by Zade — thank you for being part of Spock’s journey.

Our Story

Town and Country Animal Clinic has been in operation since 1946. The original clinic in Greenville was where the Rite Aid store is now. The clinic moved to it’s present location in 1956. A major addition was completed in 1991 to give the current appearance we have today. What has driven this clinic for almost 75 years is the concept that We will help our clients, help their pets, to live a healthy life, for as long and as comfortable as possible. We believe in educating our clients, that quality of life is important for our patients, and that we work collaboratively with clients to find the best balance and the best outcomes for our patients.
