Great Falls Equestrian, LLC Coming soon--Great Falls Equestrian! And they are thrilled to still have Sharon on board, continuing to teach students as well.

Situated on over 30 acres in the heart of Great Falls, Great Falls Equestrian is a multi-discipline equestrian facility offering top notch training for riders of all levels, and premium care for their horses. Longtime Great Falls residents and horse community standard bearers Sharon and Harry Huber are handing the reins of the facility on Arnon Chapel Road (formerly operated as Deerfield Farm, Gre

at Falls Horse Center, and most recently as the Hubers' Stoneridge Farm) to a new team with Great Falls Equestrian. Wendy Masemer; a top level eventer, lifelong Great Falls inhabitant, and former student of the Hubers; and Lauren Dearlove; a successful trainer specializing in young horses, and formerly a beloved instructor with Great Falls Pony Club; will be taking over and are excited to carry on the long standing tradition of training young riders and fostering a love of horses in the next generation. Wendy and Lauren have a deep background in the hunter, eventing, and dressage worlds, and are proudly welcoming riders of all disciplines and levels to come train with Great Falls Equestrian. They hope to give riders a chance to experience different types of riding and competitions, and to help riders find their passion and pursue their callings.

Not content with one competition, Wendy made it a double horse show weekend and took her other fave, Mr. Wonderful, Stuart, to the A Jump Above Horse Shows jumper show at Upperville yesterday. Stuart was his perfect self, thrilled to back in the Parker ring, this time in his usual tack and not cosplaying as a hunter. He and Wendy came in second in the Preliminary, and were finished by 7:45 am; that’s our kind of show! Shout out to A Jump Above for such a fun and fantastic opportunity; we love getting to play at the Upperville C**t & Horse Show grounds year round. And thank you to Topeka Custom Design & Photo for the beautiful photo.

Emily and Merlin had a blast out on course at Waredaca on Saturday—peep that last photo to see how much fun Merlin was really having, he may have gone for a bit of a joy ride during cross country 🤣. The pair finished fourth in their Beginner Novice division, and we enjoyed watching them almost as much as they enjoyed showing! Thank you to SDH Photography and her crew for the fantastic photos!

A little footage of Hornet out on cross country at Waredaca yesterday from a new friend and member of the Hornet fan club. The Murder Hornet won his Beginner Novice division, finishing on what we believe is his best dressage score today, and telling Wendy he is now an eventing expert. In her words, he was “perfect… well semi-feral.” Basically, shut up, I’ve got it Mom. The privileges of being the favorite child.

Finally, Emily and Merlin were looking smooth cantering around Windchase Eventing. Can’t wait to see them on course tomorrow!

Lee and Happy tagged along to Windchase Eventing too! We love seeing these two hunter pros cruising around a cross country course!

Wendy was grinning WIDE as Hornet navigated the coffin jump at Windchase Eventing. The elusive Wendy smile!

Tuesday we took a little field trip to Windchase Eventing to prep for Waredaca this weekend. Flirt and Karli were having a blast!

One of our most favorite part of the summer every year is when Val Hoke visits to show the kids about mounted games during camp. This time Wendy and Hornet joined in on the fun; a return to their youth for one, and another new job to crush for the other. Lots of laughs, thank you Val!

Spaghetti has been staying hydrated, and wants to remind her adoring fans that she ruled the roost long before Ziti arrived, and will continue to do so. That pipsqueak can stay in the office like homebody Gnocchi.
