Just a quick reminder this Halloween, chocolate can be toxic to dogs and the risk depends on the type and amount eaten as well as your dog’s size. If your pet gets into chocolate or another potentially harmful treat, don’t wait for symptoms to appear, call us or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center right away.

Fort Collins VEH: (970) 484-8080
ASPCA Animal Poison Control: (888) 426-4435

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween!

Spooky looks, happy pups, and a great cause! Our veterinary assistant Ani and their Doberman joined the fun at the Run Fur Fun last weekend and made time for a pup cup, too!

Thank you Animal Friends Alliance for bringing our community together to support animals in need!

Please join us in welcoming Ani and Morgan, two new veterinary assistants, to the Fort Collins VEH team!

Ani is a CSU Animal Science graduate and lifelong animal lover who enjoys learning, reading, cosplay, and crafting.

Morgan brings five years of veterinary assistant experience and loves sharing her knowledge to help families care for their pets at home. Outside of work, she enjoys fantasy books, video games, and spending time with her husband and German Shepherd, Ace.

We’re so happy to have you both on the team!

Halloween celebrations are in full swing this week! As you enjoy the costumes, candy, and spooky decorations, keep your furry family members in mind.

Keep treats, glow sticks, makeup, and decorations out of paws reach, and make sure any pet costume fits comfortably without restricting movement, sight, or breathing. Check out the tips below for more ways to keep your pets safe this fall!

If your pet needs emergency care, whether it’s Halloween related or any other day of the year, call Fort Collins VEH. Our team is here for you and your pets 24/7.

We kicked off Tech Week with Monochrome Madness Monday. Vet assistant Ani and Binx understood the assignment!

This week is all about celebrating amazing veterinary technicians and showing them the same love they give to their patients every day. Thank you for all that you do!

Your spare change can help change lives!

We are proud to host an Animal Friends Alliance donation jar at our hospital!

Next time you stop by FCVEH, consider dropping in your spare change or a few dollars. Every donation helps Animal Friends Alliance continue supporting pets and the people who love them throughout our community.

Our team had such a great time at Tour de Corgi! We loved meeting so many adorable corgis (and their humans!), handing out goodies, and being part of one of Fort Collins’ most beloved events.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

We’re headed to Tour de Corgi!

The VEH team will be out at Tour de Corgi tomorrow, and we’d love to see you there!

Stop by the Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital booth to say hi, grab some swag, and chat with our team. And, of course, we’ll be soaking up the glorious sea of tiny legs and fluffy corgi butts.
