Tippi Tuesday! Meet sweet baby Tippi. He came to us after potentially swallowing a bully stick! He was a hit with the team! Tippi is a 6 month old Brussels Griffon. These dogs are known to be super loving and "velcro dogs." Mom told us he loves humans, but is known to eat all the naughty things! We are so glad Tippi didnt need serious medical care, but we are so grateful you brought him in to see our team! 🐾💕🐶

🌿 A Gentle Goodbye 🌿
One of the hardest parts of loving our pets is knowing when it’s time to say goodbye. At our emergency hospital, we see families faced with this decision every day, often in unexpected and difficult circumstances.

Euthanasia is never an easy choice, but it can be the kindest gift we can give when a beloved pet is suffering and no longer able to enjoy the life they once loved. Our team is here to guide you with compassion, answer your questions, and provide support during this emotional time. 💙

If you are ever faced with making this decision, please know you are not alone. Our veterinarians and staff are here to ensure your pet’s final moments are peaceful, respectful, and surrounded by love.

Our hospital offers different options for getting your beloved pet back home to you, as well as a peaceful and separate exam room for you to spend some last moments with your fur baby.

Just a reminder, we are here 24/7, 365 and are always available to help with your furry loved one with a gentle and peaceful passing💕🐾

This week, our team participated in a hospital wide chili cook off!!! It was a close call, but our winter ended up being #3, “two day chili,” made by our manager Meghan! It all came down to ONE vote! We even had someone bring homemade cornbread. We have some amazing cooks on our team! What’s your favorite type of chili? 💘🐾

(Also can’t forget the Tums!!)

🚨 Pet Health Alert: NSAID Toxicity in Dogs 🚨
Many human pain relievers, like ibuprofen (Advil®), naproxen (Aleve®), and aspirin, are extremely dangerous for dogs. These medications, called NSAIDs, can cause:
🐾 Stomach ulcers
🐾 Kidney failure
🐾 Liver damage
🐾 Severe illness or even death
⚠️ Never give your dog human pain medicine without veterinary guidance. Even small doses can be toxic!
There are also NSAID medications that are safe for dogs that we prescribe in vet med! These medications can be toxic at high doses- so keep them out of reach from your nosey dogs!

👉 If your dog accidentally eats an NSAID, call us immediately or head straight in! The faster they get treatment, the better the outcome.

Your pup’s safety is our top priority—always check with your vet before giving any medication. ❤️🐶

Here's a couple kiddos that got into their own NSAID medications and were brought in immediately to our clinic for close monitoring!

Mr Gus came to us after getting a little too excited to see his dad! He landed just perfectly on his leg, causing a spiral fracture to the tibia! Owners have tried their best to keep this sweet 9 month old boy calm, but that puppy energy has causes him to get a new cast a couple times. He now has a splint, helping keep his leg as stable as possible. One of our sweet technicians made some art for his bandage! Isnt that donut just adorable!? Thank you for trusting us with the care of your sweet pup! We wish him the best in his recovery!🍩❤🐾
