We partnered with Arthrex Vet Systems to cover the registration fees of two introductory orthopedic courses for Dr. John Morton, Chief Medical Officer at Patty Baker Humane Society Naples. This pay-it-forward approach provided the no-kill shelter a potential new capacity for orthopedic care in its veterinary clinic.

Join us on Sept. 23 for our second webinar session with Probo Medical and Mindray Animal Care!

Registration is FREE with 1 hour of RACE-approved CE!

Our guest speaker is Dr. Jaime Rechy, who will explore the practical applications of ultrasound in clinical practice, focusing on a standardized approach to scanning the abdomen, thorax, and heart during point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) exams.

Participants will gain insight into the strengths and limitations of ultrasound for diagnosing various conditions, recognizing where additional diagnostic tools may be required.

The session will also highlight key sonographic features that help differentiate between benign and malignant lesions, providing clinicians with the knowledge to interpret findings with greater confidence and accuracy.

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Basic and Advanced Equine Arthroscopy courses! These courses always draw an international crowd, and this year was no exception. Veterinarians traveled from Israel, Mexico, Ireland, France, Canada, and all over the United States to build basic and advanced skills in equine arthroscopic surgery.

A big recognition and shout out to our incredible CSU instructors including Dr. Wayne McIlwraith, a trailblazer in equine arthroscopy surgery and research. Thank you to our additional instructors who traveled to Colorado from Kentucky and California to join us.

See you in 2026 🐎

Join us for The Whole Cat Approach to Dentistry on Oct. 26-27!

Every practitioner knows that dental extractions are some of the most common surgical procedures performed in small animal practice. However, in order to perform extractions, we have to feel confident getting our patients to the surgical procedure. To help increase your comfort and proficiency in managing these cases, we’ve designed a course for general practitioners that covers management of common feline diseases, planning anesthesia and feline dentistry!

Learning objectives for this course:
βœ… Diagnosing and managing common feline diseases
βœ… Anesthetizing feline patients
βœ… Interpreting thoracic and abdominal radiographs
βœ… Treatment planning for extractions based on intraoral radiographs
βœ… Performing extractions

We love MIS Week. Introduction to Small Animal Laparoscopy is a pre-requisite for our Laparoscopic Ovariectomy course which partners with local rescues so you can gain hands-on experience performing laparoscopic ovariectomies on two dogs to help with their adoptability! πŸ’šπŸ’› Just look at those faces!

These back-to-back courses are a great way to gain that edge that distinguishes your practice from the others.
