🐾 !!! PAWS ‘N CLAWS IS HIRING !!! 🐾
We are seeking a dedicated full time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! The schedule is Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays. This person must have outstanding people skills, excellent phone manners, honesty, and punctuality, along with a professional attitude and appearance. Experience in a veterinary clinic or medical field is preferred but we are willing to train.

Your major job duties would include:
– Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
– Establishing exceptional client experiences
– Record keeping duties
– Clerical duties related to patient care and treatment
– Providing miscellaneous support to the veterinary team

We offer discounted pet care, paid time off, sick leave, and IRA’s!
Salary is $16-$20/hr depending upon experience and attitude

Today is National Pet Day! If you’re a pet owner, you know there’s not a day that goes by that you don’t celebrate your animal companion, but today is a day to really appreciate that special human-animal bond. So hug your hedgehog, bond with your bunny, cuddle with your cat, and devote some time to your dog. That critter makes you happy, but that’s not all. Over the past 10 years, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has been a partner in research to determine the physical and mental benefits of having a pet. It turns out that not only can pets steal our hearts, but they also contribute to overall cardiovascular health by lowering cortisol, cholesterol, and blood pressure levels. Happy National Pet Day!

We are looking for a Veterinary Technician

Small animal clinic in north Fort Collins is seeking a qualified individual for a veterinary technician position. CVT Certification is a plus, but not required. 1 year of animal experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with related experience. Full time Monday thru Friday with alternating Saturday shifts.

We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities: compassionate and caring manner with clients and pets, good phone skills, professional attitude and appearance, attention to detail and ability to correctly enter and maintain medical records. We are looking for someone who is competent in all aspects of small animal surgery, dental evaluation and cleaning, in house laboratory work (blood, f***l, UA), patient care, radiology (general and dental), IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, etc. You must be able to communicate with clients in exam rooms, over the phone and provide excellent customer service. You need to understand the importance of each client and patient to our business and treat both with the highest level of care, competence, warmth and professionalism.
