🍁✨ Meet Serenity – our sweet girl who has been with us since the beginning of May, making her one of our longest residents. She may not have had her “Hot Girl Summer” ☀️👒, but she’s ready to be part of your Pumpkin Spice & Football Fall 🏈🎃.

Serenity recently had entropion surgery (that’s when eyelashes roll inward and irritate the eye—ouch!). She’s now all healed up, and her beautiful shimmer is back in those soulful eyes ✨.

At 4 years old and 52 lbs, Serenity is the perfect mix of calm and playful. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car 🚙. She loves chasing a ball, sniffing out all the fall scents on walks 🍂👃, and has the cutest little bounce in her step when she’s happy. She may pull at first on leash, but settles right in once she’s exploring.

Serenity won’t fall head-over-paws instantly—she’s more of a slow-burn romance 💕. She needs a calm home, time to trust, and patience to let her true, cuddly personality shine. Older kids (teens+) recommended, and she’ll need to be your one-and-only pet—but trust us, she has enough love to fill your whole heart. 🧡🐾

Guys! I know it's only been one night but I need to tell you how much of a gem Sully is! He's COMPLETELY housebroken (I have hella plants in the house and he hasn't tried to p*e on any of them or in my son's room which has been a magnet for dogs to do their business. But Sully went exploring in there, found the smells and just splooted right down and loved the attention he got) He actually walks well on a leash too. Once we got started walking to the car he stayed right by me until he saw a pole to p*e on, then kept walking. And he was SO chill in the car I don't think he needed me sitting with him. He listens surprisingly well but above all LOVES "his boy"! Our son has a loft bed and Sully has a bed right under it where he wanted to sleep. This morning he did get a bit scared by Nick waking them up but all he did was stand guard and bark until he realized who was there to see him.

We are all so grateful for him and we adore watching him play and explore his new home! He's got us all wrapped around his paw or at least too swamped to get up under his paw 🤣

HAPPY PUPDATE: LAPIS (NOW BOSS) ♥️🐾

“Hello, just a little update on our Boss boy (Lapis). He’s been with us 9 months now and we could not be happier. He is so much fun and such a good boy. He loves his puppy friends at day care. We found one that has no kennels. They do plenty of fun activities. He has been very busy with going to the family farm & watching the chicks grow. He’s been to the lake in Indiana and he went on his 1st boat ride with us. He was very curious. He loves the screen double doors as he can come in and out as much as he wants. My husband is his bf. He gives him hugs. We are so blessed to have him. Thank you again for this sweet, sweet boy.“ -Boss’s adopter

I’M BEGGING HERE !!! I LOVE THIS DOG ! HE IS THE SWEETEST….

Biggy’s stress has escalated so much that he is now starting to harm himself in the kennel. 💔 We cannot allow this to go on for much longer. He also chewed apart his bed and since this poses a health and safety risk (potential blockage or injury), he has to have a grate bed, which is much less comfortable. 😭

Basically what we’re saying is that he needs out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. He needs a hero.

When Biggy first arrived, he was so skinny and sad. It was clear that whoever had him before he came here wasn’t treating him well. We’re also certain that he had never received any vetting. He was hungry and filthy, and he had a look in his eyes that seemed to say, “I’m lost. I’ve been lost my whole life. I’ve never had a real home or family to call my own. Please help me.”

Part of the reason that this boy is still here is that he needs to be the only animal in the home (no other dogs or cats). We know this can be difficult to find but we remain strong in the belief that the perfect family is indeed out there somewhere. We just need help finding them…

Biggy is estimated to be 1 year old and 50 pounds. He is gradually putting on some weight now that he is receiving stable care and food. While he isn’t a fan of sharing his space with other animals, he does love people, and we think he’d do well with children of all ages.

He’s a total lap dog and so affectionate. His happiness radiates when he gets out of the kennel and is able to spend time with a human friend. He knows how to appreciate the simple things in life.

WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME… PLEASE HELP US SAVE HIM. ⏰

HAPPY PUPDATE: CABERNET (NOW ECHO) ♥️🐾 She waited so long :)

“She is doing AMAZING! She really is just the best girl. She loves to go for long walks and car rides. She will chase a ball until she can't move anymore. She still loves bully sticks but her favorite snack is chicken jerky. She plays with the neighbor’s dog and is so good with my kiddos. She was truly the best addition.” -Echo’s mom
