Pets In Peril

Pets In Peril Pets in Peril is an outreach program serving the Greater Flint area. Our program is 100% donation based. This area has a very high rate of at-risk pets.

We are a volunteer based organization that provides assistance to pets and pet owners that live within the City of Flint. Our goal is to educate owners on pet care, the importance of spay/neutering their pets, to show the importance of the pets in their lives, and sometimes even referral to human services for people needs. PIP volunteers provide food, straw, dog houses, and occasional spay and neu

ter services to “owned” animals within the city of Flint. Sometimes requests come from families wanting to keep their pets while in financial distress; pet food and supplies are given to these families to help them get through the hard financial times so they can keep their pets. Other times, tips from the community are received for investigation. PIP volunteers rely on donations from the public to help these animals be as comfortable as possible in their given situations. Please consider purchasing items we need on our wish list so that we can help the animals. Thank you! http://amzn.com/w/1K3DZPHRFQKI0

WE said goodby to friend Bill DeHaan who died suddenly. Here he is holding my book with a recent donation of dog food to PIP. He did this from Howell business and we wish to publicly acknowledge his kindness and condolences to his wife.

thanks for folks like Jaime Weidanz who dropped off several bags of food in the early morning. People who go out of their way to give something to needy animals during these frigid days are angels.
