Meet Vex. This cute and playful 5 year-old female husky needs a calm and devoted family to dote on her. She is not spayed and she doesn't have any vet records but she's good with children and gets along with other large dogs but no small animals, she has a very intense prey drive.
She can be an escape artist and can be very anxious if left alone. She doesn't do well in her crate, she can be destructive.

Her background: She was the pet of a young person who went into the military. They were supposed to get her back after training but that never happened. The person who was watching wasn't prepared to take on a lifetime commitment, they were just helping temporarily.

Now they need to rehome her. She comes with her crate, toys, bowls, leash and collar. An application, site visit and rehoming fee will be required before placement. She needs a fenced yard. She's local to Genesee County and I can transport or meet halfway if need be.

A mama and 4 bull mastiff/ pitbull puppies need emergency foster/rescue/adoption. 13 weeks old. Owner surrendered. Not fixed, 1 male. 3 females. Owner's father taking to AC if we cannot intervene. Pics to follow.

6 months after being rescued as an abandoned puppy Vader is making great progress. He is finally able to expose his belly. That's huge considering he cowers in the presence of anyone. He is really beginning to initiate play with his kitty siblings. He also initiated a cuddle with his mommy one morning as she slept. He nuzzled her ear and gave kissus... These small things are really big steps when earning the trust of a puppy who was wild. He ate whatever he could scrounge up. He's still afraid to go outside but is very obedient on his lead and never ever pulls.
