*COURTESY POST FOR FOSTER*

This is Roscoe 🤎 he is looking for a forever home. He is currently in Monroe, LA but the foster is willing to transport him to a new home if needed.

“He’s a 1 year old neutered mixed breed. He is very sweet, is active but respectful, does not know much but is a quick learner. He is eager to please and loves affection. He has been good with kids though may be a bit hyper for little kids. I wouldn’t trust him with small dogs or cats just yet, but he hasn’t shown aggression. He was kept outdoor only and had never been on a leash or in a kennel. He does great in the kennel now, and he walks on a leash but does pull. He would do really well with someone that lives an active lifestyle and doesn’t mind spending time on basic obedience. I have only known him a week and only in a clinic setting, but he has not tried to potty inside for us nor in his kennel. He is heartworm positive, but he has been vaccinated and given Proheart and Bravecto and has been started on doxycycline.”

This week’s pet feature is a very special girl. 🐶💛 Her name is Gypsy, and she needs a home. This puppy was brought to us by a very kind individual who found her after she’d been abandoned and hit by a car. She urgently needed her leg amputated. Thankfully, was able to cover the costs of the surgery, so we were able to preform it immediately. She’s in recovery, but she needs a forever home once she’s all better. Please share and contact us for more information! 🩺🦮
