🌟🐾 Lovely Lady’s Mysterious Moment 🐾🌟

This gorgeous girl is Lady — and while she always looks like a picture of perfect health, she gave her family quite a scare when she came in for vomiting blood and other GI troubles. 😔

We may never know exactly what she got into, but with the right meds, some top-notch TLC from her mom, and a whole lot of resilience, Lady bounced back beautifully. 💪💕

Sometimes in vet med, we don’t get all the answers — and that’s okay. Our job isn’t always to solve the mystery, but to make sure our patients feel better, act like themselves again, and get back to tail wags and belly rubs. 🐶✨

Lady didn’t miss a beat, didn’t act hangry once, and was truly the perfect patient. Her mom says she’s happy, healthy, and playful once more — just the way we love to see them!

🧡🐾 Sven’s “Earitation” Situation 🐾🧡

Meet Sven — the fluffiest, happiest, smiliest boy around! 😄 He came in for some serious ear irritation (or as we like to call it, earitation 😉), and his sweet mom was super worried that a cotton ball had gotten stuck in his ear during cleaning. 😬

Thankfully, after a good look, we found no cotton ball — just a case of chronic otitis externa (that’s a fancy way of saying his ears were pretty inflamed and irritated). With the right treatment plan, Sven is already on the road to relief! 🐶✨

Through it all, Sven was so brave, so gentle, and full of tail wags and love. He reminded us all how strong and sweet our furry friends can be, even when they’re not feeling their best.

Way to go, Sven! 💪🧡

🌾🐾 Waffle's Wild Adventure 🐾🌾

This handsome guy is Waffle, and while he always looks like a ray of sunshine, he came to see us for a very uncomfortable reason — a swollen right eye. On his first visit, we didn’t see any debris or injury, so we sent him home with some meds just in case.

But Waffle came back… with something sticking out of his eye! 😱 We gently sedated him and discovered the culprit — long, stiff blades of grass that had worked their way deep into his eye. Poor buddy! 💚

We carefully removed all the grass, and Waffle is now healing up beautifully. Through it all, he was the sweetest, friendliest, and most trusting good boy — wagging his tail and stealing hearts, even while in pain. 💛🐶

Send Waffle some love and remember to keep an eye out (literally!) for pesky grass blades this season!

🐾 Meet Nile — our gentle giant! 🐾
This 128-pound Irish Wolfhound came in after a little backyard misadventure left him with a laceration on his side (we suspect the fence tried to play rough 😅).

Despite his size, Nile was the absolute best boy — no sedation needed for his wound care! Just some gentle reassurance, a good clip and clean, and of course, that 12/10 award-winning smile. 😄✨

We loved having this sweet soul in the clinic. Big dogs, big hearts! 💚

🌶️ Meet Max the Chihuahua! 🌶️
This little guy may be small, but his spice level is through the roof! Max came to see us because his incision from a recent mass removal surgery started to open up. He was feeling extra bold today, so we wrapped him in a cozy babushka to help keep everyone safe (and stylish). 😄🧣

Max was recently adopted from Fayetteville Animal Services, and we’re so glad he found his forever family. We love caring for all the flavors of pups—sweet, spicy, and everything in between! 💛🌈

💛 Meet Max – proof that even the best of friends can have a little ruff patch. 🦴🐶

Max came to see us after a disagreement with his pupsitter's pup… over a bone, of course. Classic sibling squabble! He needed a bit of sedation to get patched up, and our vet assistant Lydia made sure he left in style—with a custom yellow heart on his bandage. 💛✨

We’re happy to report Max is healing up beautifully and holding no grudges. After all, what’s a friendship without the occasional (slightly toothy) disagreement? 😉

Here’s to healing, forgiveness, and maybe keeping two bones on hand next time. 🐾💕

🌟 Meet Knox – the short king of our hearts! 👑💚

This ridiculously cute 7-month-old pup came in for an eye ulcer, but you’d never know it by his wiggly tail and happy energy. Despite his big-dog face, Knox only weighs 28 lbs and rocks the cutest little stubby legs you've ever seen. 😍

He was SO brave, full of wiggles, and honestly... we all wanted to steal him. 12/10 best boy ever. Bonus: his amazing mom works at West Oaks Animal Hospital – clearly greatness runs in the family! 🐾💕

We’re sending lots of healing vibes to that sweet little eye, Knox! Come back anytime, but fair warning... we might try to keep you. 🥹

🐾💪 Meet Duke – certified tough guy with a heart of gold! 💛

Duke came in with an abscess on his back leg, but you’d never know it from how calm and composed he was! This handsome boy was an absolute champ – he let us do bloodwork, injections, and even fluids with barely any restraint. Talk about bravery with a side of charm! 😎✨

From those soulful eyes to his perfect little underbite, we were all smitten. Feel better soon, Duke – you’re a true gentleman and a LocalVet legend! 🐶🩺💚

🕵️‍♂️🐾 Introducing: Sherlock Bones & The Case of the Chocolate Covered Raisins 🍫🍇
When this stylish pup got into some milk chocolate covered raisins (a big no-no for dogs!), we had to act fast. Don’t worry, he’s doing just fine after a quick detox... and yes, he rocked a manbun through the whole ordeal like the trendsetting sleuth he is. 💁‍♂️🐶
Lesson learned: even the most dapper detectives can get into mischief.

We’re lucky to have this beautiful view from our clinic window and our tiny hummingbird friends are always putting on a show between patients! 💚
Whether it's a birdsong or a quick winged blur zipping past the feeder, we love these peaceful little moments throughout our busy day.

🐾 Meet Murphy! 🖤

Murphy came to see us for treatment of an abscess on his cheek—likely the result of a feline disagreement (cat bites are no joke!). Despite his tough guy image, Murphy is a total sweetheart.

You might notice his charmingly permanent little fang—his upper K9 tooth hangs out due to an old scar, giving him an irresistibly unique look. 🦷😻

He’s healing well and will be just fine with some TLC. We loved having this dapper gentleman in the clinic. Get well soon, Murphy! 💕🩺

This little sweetheart came in for a UTI, but don’t worry — she's expected to heal up beautifully! With those soulful eyes, soft golden fluff, and her stylish green checkered bandana, Penny had everyone at the clinic completely smitten. 😍
