Cats spend about 70% of their lives sleeping.

That's roughly 13–16 hours every day—and some senior cats can snooze even longer!

To put that into perspective, if humans followed the same schedule, we'd sleep until noon, take another nap after lunch, and still spend the evening acting completely exhausted.

Sound familiar? 😹

While it may look like your cat is simply perfecting the art of relaxation, all that sleep serves an important purpose. Cats conserve energy, support healthy growth and healing, process information, and recharge for critical activities like zoomies at 3 AM and knocking things off countertops.
