Behind every great vet clinic is a team committed to never stop learning ❤️🐾

Last night Payton, Kayla, Avie, and Logan attended continuing education to sharpen their CPR knowledge in order to provide the best care possible for your pets in the case of an emergency!

We love continuing our education to better serve you and your pets 🐶🐱

My heart is full. Since our "Meet the Team" Open House, life at the clinic has been a beautiful whirlwind. I finally had a moment this week to look through the photos from our very first community event and just... reflect.

Seeing my parking lot filled with neighbors, friends, and so many wagging tails reminded me exactly why I love practicing medicine in my hometown. Whether you joined us for "stuffy surgery" or enjoyed the company of local businesses whose core values align with ours, thank you! You did more than celebrate our grand opening; you helped us launch our mission to deliver the kind of world-class, low-stress pet healthcare that Northwest Arkansas deserves.

Please enjoy the pictures, and read more about our very first community event at: www.fayetteville.vet/blog. Then, when you're ready to experience what veterinary medicine should feel like from a neighbor you can trust, give me a call.

More than just a clinic—we’re a classroom! 🐾

We believe that being a part of this community means opening our doors to the next generation. This week, we had the absolute blast hosting 6th graders from Eagle Cap and Yukon Quest!

From the blueprints of our hospital to the building blocks of DNA, these students kept us on our toes with their curiosity. We’re proud to support our local schools and help inspire the scientists, architects, and veterinarians of tomorrow.

Check out the original post from the school below! 👇

We had some serious leaks behind the washing machine this morning…

We couldn’t resist a harmless April Fool’s Day prank on Alan and if you’ve met him, you know he’s always a good sport!

Happy April Fool’s Day!

Big thanks to our electrician for helping us with this prank!

Puppy and kitten season is HERE! 💙🐶🎉

To celebrate, we’re spotlighting Ash, a Fayetteville Fire Education dog in training who’s already making a name for herself in our community. We’re also sharing FVC’s guide to crate training—one of the best tools in your kit for setting your new pup up for success.

An increase in distemper virus among local raccoons has us wondering…..is your dog up-to-date on its distemper vaccine? It is the “D” in DA2PP. If not, call us today.

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE: Fayetteville Animal Services is alerting residents to a recent spike in Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) cases within the local raccoon population. While the virus does NOT pose a health threat to humans, it is contagious and potentially fatal for domestic dogs.

RECOGNIZING THE SIGNS:
• Disorientation: Raccoons appearing "drunk," stumbling or wandering aimlessly.
• Unusual Behavior: Being active during the day and showing no fear of humans or loud noises.
• Physical Symptoms: Discharge from the eyes or nose (looking like a "cold"), matted fur or seizures/tremors.
