Dr. Viki Cyphers is a small animal veterinarian who graduated LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She jointly owned Cyphers Veterinary Clinic in Hot Springs, Arkansas from 1987 to 2005. She then worked at Lowell Veterinary Clinic from 2005 to 2008 and at Wedington Animal Hospital from 2008 to 2012. She practices with mainly dogs and cats and cannot wait to meet yours!

For those of you who have gotten or are getting a puppy for Christmas, this is your gentle reminder that…

Puppies are HARD!

Puppies are a lot of work and often times, it is not easy. Getting up in the middle of the night, going outside every two hours, puppy proofing and/or realizing you only thought you did, being constantly vigilant. It can be exhausting and very frustrating. I understand.

I want you to remember how CUTE your puppy is. God made him cute so you wouldn’t kill him. 😉

It gets better. I promise. 15 years from now, you will be looking at the sugared face and cloudy eyes of your best friend, and wishing you could do it all over again.

Be patient. With yourself and with your puppy.

This year we are partnering with the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center to collect donations for local rescue and community organizations! Our collection bin will be up in the lobby until December 20th and benefit Big Paws of The Ozarks and Samaritan Community Center!

The supplies listed below are their most wanted items. If you would like to make a monetary donation instead, just let the staff know and we will pass those funds along as well. We hope you'll join us in supporting these awesome organizations this holiday season!
