Spring is in the air once again! Spring brings on many challenges as allergies increase, insects come back out to pester and that winter coat starts to be dispersed all over the house. Is it time to renew your pets heartworm or flea and tick meds or get a salon day scheduled to help remove that shedding coat?? Give us a call and we would love to help ring in spring with you and your pet!

Happy fall to all!!

Did you know that with the changing weather brings kitten season? This goes for any feral, or wild, momma out there as well as domesticated cats. However, the feral life is not a happy life as it is filled with fear, hunger and uncertainty. The staff here at POB wants anyone to know that if they come across ANY feral kitten(s), we are a safe haven for these babies! We will care for them as if they were our own, spay, neuter, vaccinate, domesticate and find forever homes for any that come to us in need. So, if you or anyone you know find some baby cats out there in the big world, save their life and bring them in to us so that we can help them not only survive, but thrive!

Pets on Broadway is so excited to announce the addition of our sixth doctor to the PoB family! Welcome Dr. Lauren Makowski!! We are thrilled to have you and look forward to our future together.

Lauren has always had a passion for helping animals. She had a long and interesting journey finding veterinary medicine. Lauren volunteered at the Bronx zoo all throughout her time studying at Fordham University in New York, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Lauren’s time at the zoo led her to develop a strong interest in exotic animals, so she traveled to Kenya and Tanzania to study wildlife management and ecology. Her passion for adventure then brought her to India. It was here where Lauren truly discovered her desire to help all the unwanted, injured, and sick animals, and take a stand on pet overpopulation.
Lauren graduated veterinary school from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies in 2018, and moved to Colorado 2 days later.
Lauren has a strong interest in small animal surgery and is very excited to be part of the Pets on Broadway family.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, and their three dogs, Jack, Carl, and Margo. Lauren also enjoys anything outside- hiking, camping, fishing, and kayaking.
