August Fund-A-Needs ✨⬇️ Tink & Livi

As the leading, true No Kill shelter in Denver, we are often the caregivers of animals that otherwise would’ve face a worser fate.

This month, we’re fundraising for two special animals, one cat and one dog: Tink and Livi. Read their bios, and consider donating to their care and treatment. Donations to either fundraiser will offset the cost to us as a nonprofit organization to continue to provide them with a safe place to await their true companions and recuperate following necessary treatment. Meet Stewie ♥️🥒

Stewie is a 9-year-old short hair with a tender spirit and a heart of gold! Most often the words used to describe him are cuddle bug! He loves being picked up and carried around like the baby he is under all that fur. Imagine, you come home from work and right at your door, a cute little face to call your own is looking up longingly. Stewie is also very playful, his favorite toy being a stuffed catnip pickle he snuggles, wrestles, and throws around!

Stewie is on a special, yet manageable, urinary healthy diet and would do best in a calm home. For more information on Stewie, check out his bio:

Foster highlight: Meet Gary, Pawn, and Brook!

Foster parents add that tender love and care your true companions need before you take them home. Here’s what our Cat Foster Coordinator Shelly had to say about Gary, one of our long-time Cat Fosters:

“Gary is a phenomenal foster. He typically takes senior and adult cats. I needed a kitten foster and convinced(it didn’t take much) him to take two little kittens for me this round. He had a senior cat in foster who recently passed away a few months ago. He is attentive and acts quickly when he notices anything amiss, so I knew he would be great with these young kittens. The kittens will be socialized beautifully!”
