Weekend Urgent Care remains OPEN with Saturday & Sunday hours unchanged.

Weekday daytime wellness, sick visits, and surgeries continue as usual.

Staying up to date on your furry friend’s f***l exam is important in ensuring they are parasite free and allows us to quickly treat them if parasites are detected. Holiday season brings a lot of new and festive décor to the home. Here are some items to look out for to keep your furry friends safe:

Tinsel: Like any string, if tinsel is digested by your pet, it can be very dangerous and cause an obstruction that can require surgery.

Chocolate: Bakers’ chocolate, dark chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate tend to be the most dangerous types of chocolate for pets. Chocolate contains ingredients which can cause central nervous system dysfunction and heart issues. Though some chocolates contain less of these ingredients than others, all chocolate is considered toxic and should be kept away from our pets. If you think your pet has ingested chocolate, do not wait and call us immediately!

Imitation Snow: If you have flocking or imitation snow on your tree, make sure it is out of reach for your pet as it can be harmful if digested.

Tree preservatives: If you are using tree preservatives, ensure that your pet doesn’t have access to the tree water as this could be very toxic to them!
