The Save This Life (STL) Microchip Registry has shut down unexpectedly, and its database is no longer linked to national registries. This means pets with STL microchips (numbers starting with 991 or 900164) can’t be traced if they get lost. The microchips themselves are still valid, functioning, and are safe for pets.

We advise registering your pet with another provider as soon as possible. Below is a list of recommended option (these options are free):
