Blue-green algae in canals and ponds can be extremely dangerous for dogs.

With so many waterways throughout West Delray and Boca Raton, it’s important to avoid letting dogs drink or swim in canal water, especially during hot weather.

Symptoms can appear quickly and may include vomiting, drooling, weakness, tremors, or seizures.

When your dog’s eye suddenly looks like it has a cherry stuck in it 🍒👁️… it can be scary, but it’s actually a condition called cherry eye.

It happens when a gland in the eyelid pops out of place. It’s common, treatable, and something we see all the time.
