URGENT PLEA for adorable Kobe 🤍🖤
K-O-B-E basically the same as L-O-V-E because that’s exactly what this sweet boy is!
Kobe and his sister arrived in December 2025 as an owner surrender. From 2 months old to 9 months of age they had a home, surrendered when their family said they could no longer keep them. Kobe's sister found another home immediately, yet poor Kobe is still here waiting, 6 months later. 😔
💬 "Kobe is an affectionate and playful young boy who is desperately trying to hold on to hope that someone will choose him. It's heartbreaking to see him still here. How much longer can this sweet boy withstand the stress?"
💬 "Kobe is like those fun little wind up cars that you pull back and then LET THEM GO! Kobe starts wound up in the kennel then when we goes out to play, he is all smiles and tail wags, adjusting his play style nicely to that of his doggie friends. And just like those toys, Kobe winds down and shows off his good walking manners and his couch potato within. He is a total snuggle bug."
💬 "Kobe loves to be cuddled by his people! He thinks if he stands up like a person, he’ll get more hugs, and while we try to remind him that he can stay low, we admit to hugging him anyways! It’s not our fault- he lures us in. He's so sweet, affectionate, and charming."
💬 "When Kobe is out of his kennel, he is a total dreamboat."
💬 "Kobe spends his days jumping up and down in his kennel trying to get your attention. He doesn’t understand that most people don’t respond to the kennel jumping and they walk right by him, but he keeps hoping that someone will see him for the real Kobe he is when out of his kennel. We pray this day comes soon because it’s not fair to have Kobe waiting here 175 days."
🐾 1.5 yrs young, 48lbs, HW+ and ready for treatment, which we will provide. Can you take him home for foster or trial adoption while we treat him?
🐾 Loves playing with other dogs. Plays too rough with cats.
🐾 Walks well on leash, rides fine in the car, greets everyone happily on outings.
🐾 Knows how to sit and thrives on attention, praise, and treats.
🐾 When in foster for a few days, he did great in the home. Was housebroken and crate training well. If you can't adopt, he would love another foster opportunity, please. Any amount of time is a welcomed break from shelter life.
