Since my wife's heart attack, I have been having to do most all of this on my own. Her health is improving greatly but mine has gone down hill considerably in the past few months due to my spinal issues and chronic pain issues. I am also having to rely on the good will on friends and family to do material runs and deliveries due to our vehicle breaking down. It, just like everything else, has been one issue after another. I had to completely rebuild the exhaust system from scratch due to rot and a bad stopped up cat, while doing do, I found that our frame was nearly rusted in half. So I had to spend an entire day doing a frame patch. So what I am going to do is not take any more orders until I get mostly caught up with what I have right now. I am just getting so overwhelmed and I would like to lighten my load some before resuming taking orders.

The ONLY way I will accept any new orders at the moment is if you are one of my regulars that understand completely our health issues. Which are those that have ordered 4+ of our coops so far or are one of our fellow Zebras.

HELP!!! ASAP
Anyone in the Graniteville area (Aiken county)?

We got this VW transaxle as shown in the first picture to put into our model T (second picture to make it VW powered). This is something my daughter wants to build during school breaks. I need it picked up this weekend if at all possible, but I keep running into setbacks with our health, I am way behind on orders and having a hard time getting away from them long enough to get it and our jeep is not dependably drivable currently and I have been spending late nights working on it. (should be done in the next day or two, our cat was stopped up, then found out the brackets were rusted through, then dealing with broken head studs that took forever to get out and the entire exhaust just started crumbling. So I have been rebuilding it from scratch, header with new hardware all the way back to new cat, stainless muffler and back to tail pipe tip, not a fun job doing it completely by hand). Then to top it off, we found out that the frame had a major crack that I had to weld a plate over it so our frame literally does not break in half.

All I am asking is if there is anyone in the area that would be willing to pick it up for us and just hold it until we can make it that way. NOT expecting delivery or anything. Just grab and get it out of his way and we bring it home the first chance we get. Would not have a problem working out a way to compensate. Just message and we can discuss.

Having to take a day or two recovery day. I have been pushing it hard on behind orders and trying to repair our vehicle. To pick up materials and do deliveries. I ended up severely flaring up my Tethered Cord issue in my lower back (it is a comorbidity of having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). It is causing me to miss a much needed cardiologist appointment today because I have not finished the jeep nor can I ride for that long in a vehicle. I need about two days for the swelling to go down. If I dont get any relief by Sunday, I will go to the ER and get another dilaudid shot and will be good to push back through orders. Just how things are while living with a lifelong painful disorder. I try and put orders ahead as much as I can but my body will only do but so much and then it completely gives out on me.

Recently finished and picked up. This is one of my basic 4x8 quakers with vent doors. This one went out unpainted by request.

Starting to get caught up on my behind orders after my wife's heart attack. Feels good. So, if you still have an order waiting to be finished, I promise I am working on it and will be done with it shortly.

Recently completed custom built chicken coop on a 5x10 trailer that was supplied by the customer. They also supplied the auto door and the roll out nest box and weld on leveling jacks. This was the single longest build I have attempted because I took the order before my wife had her heat attack. So it kept being worked on and put on hold. I am so glad the customer was so willing to work with us to allow us to finish it. I built it to have 9 nest boxes (plus the rollout system he supplied and wanted installed). Has vinyl flooring. Custom paint color by request. The platform on the trailer tongue is to support a water jug for the auto watering system I built that you can see below the windows. It may be difficult to see from the picture, but this thing is HUGE.

I would just like to add a note. Due to failing health, I can no longer build any orders of this size any more. The ladder work was way too rough on my knees and my tethered cord has flared up so bad that I am off and on being bed ridden. So I will not take on any further orders that are larger than my 4x8 or 6x6 quakers.

This is one of my 6x10 tractors. (super heavy). Has nest boxes on both ends by request. This one was supplied with white corrugate roofing but the customer made some changes and placed on metal roofing and stained the whole thing. It looks really good the way they made some personal touches.

Another 4x6 stand alone complete. This one has vinyl flooring.

This customer wanted to add an extension to a pre existing coop I built some time ago. The extension is 6 foot wide, 6 foot tall and 8 foot long. I made it where I could reuse the original door to save money and just move it once the extension was in place.

Just to update everyone why my page has not been really active the past few months. My wife has been in and out of the hospital frequently. She suffered a heart attack. Then it majorly flared up her cataplexy. So I got very little time with her due to her being unconscious most of the time. She is recovering well but we still have to be careful. As for me. I have had 2 overdoses happen to me. I am on Fentyl patches and have POTS. So due to my excessive sweating in this heat, I flooded my patches and that caused me to overdose. Fentyl overdoses are some of the nastiest to suffer from. So I have moved my working times to 9pm to 4am just to avoid as much of the heat as possible. I am back to working full time and everyone that has an order, I am currently working on it. I apologize to everyone for being so far behind but I am starting to catch up.

Just to update everyone. Especially those with orders I have been working on. The past month has been super hectic. My wife has been in and out of the doctors office due to some severe neurological issues. This has been since her heart attack. It has been nightmare to try and get her an mri due to her hearing implant. So now she has been admitted again. Hopefully this time we can get some answers. However, her cardiologist is thinking possible stroke. At least this time the staff is much more pleasant. I have been battling issues as well due to insurance out of the blue denying my Fentyl. So I have been going through some of the worst withdraws in my life. It has had be bedbound for the past week. But as soon as I know something, I will let everyone know and I will be back to working on orders. So, it may be a few days between responses here while I am at the hospital beside my wife. I just don't want anyone to think I forgot about them. I also apologize. After doing this for 15 years. I have never gotten this far behind on orders and I feel ashamed that I have. The past several months has been the worst for my family that we have ever experienced and I appreciate everyone's patience. I also apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone for their orders being so delayed.

Trying to rehome a guinea pig. She is very friendly but we developed a severe allergy to her. Will include the enclosure. Would like her to go to a good home. We also have a bottle of shampoo for her, 3/4 of a bag of bedding.

Sorry for the inactivity. I have been back and forth from the hospital to spend time with my wife. Most orders have pretty much been put on hold other than me going to pick up materials when I head home. My wife has been released today for the time being. She is still in need of a pacemaker but is currently stable enough to be home for the time being. I appreciate everyone's patience and I will be back on working on orders tomorrow.
