At Vickery Place Animal Hospital, we strive to provide compassionate, high quality veterinary care and medical services to each of our patients. Our team of veterinary professionals and staff consists of highly qualified individuals who continually aim to provide superior pet care in a gentle and efficient manner. To maintain our high standard, we offer a broad range of veterinary services such as

general wellness, radiology, dental care and surgery. Our state-of-the-art facility allows us the capability to treat most medical and surgical cases in-house. All of our hospital patients, as well as our boarding guests, are closely monitored and supervised by technicians and animal attendants who are on the premises seven days a week.

Meet the team Monday and a Big Congrats to Izzy who was voted by our staff for employee of the month! Izzy is one of our nurse aids who has been here at VPAH since the end of 2024! She has grown significantly since being here and pays attention to detail when it comes to the care of our patients! Our staff loves working with her and she is always ready to learn something new everyday! Congrats Izzy! You deserve all the recognition! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼⭐️

We appreciate our CSR’s so much! They do so much for our hospital such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, dealing with online and in clinic prescriptions, answering questions, sending sympathy and thank you cards, checking in appointments, being the middle communicator between doctor and clients and even sometimes assisting our technicians when needed! So many don’t realize that being a CSR can be a difficult job especially in veterinary medicine, and this week was to show our appreciation for them! We appreciate Emma and Sarah very much, VPAH would not be the same without them!

Our receptionist does many tasks every single day, and they are the first ones you get to interact with whether it be on the phone, email or checking in for appointment in person. Does your pet possibly have an ear infection? What do we do to determine if they do? We take a swab from each ear and put the sample on a slide to where we then stain and look at the sample with a microscope. This will let us know what kind of bacteria they may have and which medication will work best to treat it! Diagnostics are very important for us to determine how to help your pet!
