Furry Feature of the Week – Beth!

Meet Beth! Beth is a lovely gray tabby who was born outdoors with her littermates before being rescued and brought into a caring foster home. There, she discovered all the comforts every kitten deserves: soft beds, good food, and plenty of gentle attention.

Beth can be a little shy at first and may need you to make the first move with a few soft back or neck scratches. But once she remembers how much she enjoys affection, she leans right in with happy purrs, sweet head butts, and even little kisses. Wand toys are a wonderful way to engage her playful side and help her build confidence.

Now residing in our charming Kittengarten, Beth is ready to blossom in a forever home and make her way straight into your heart! DOB: 10/2025

Furry Feature of the Week – Wookie!

Meet Wookie! Not such a long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, a little puppy named Wookie was searching for her forever home.

We believe Wookie is a 16–18 week-old Australian Kelpie mix. This sweet puppy had a rough start after being found with wounds from an attack by other dogs, but thanks to the kind people who stepped in to help her, she’s now safe, healing, and ready to find a family of her own.

Like any puppy, Wookie is full of curiosity, playfulness, and energy. She loves exploring the world around her, discovering new things, and making friends along the way. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up in your arms for some snuggles. One of her favorite things is having her head gently stroked while she soaks up all the affection she can get.

Wookie has also done well in the car, making her a great companion for adventures big and small. With her sweet nature, loving personality, and puppy charm, she would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal best friend to grow up with.

The Force is strong with this one. Could Wookie be the missing member of your crew?

Furry Feature of the Week – Squeaky!

Meet Squeaky! As his name suggests, Squeaky is a very social guy, he loves people, especially women, and he will bond very quickly. He has a very sweet, playful, and silly personality, and he enjoys having long talks with lots of pets since he is accustomed to being the center of attention.

Squeaky was originally owned by a woman who could no longer afford his care due to intestinal issues that easily managed with a prescription diet. He is in a room with several of our special diet cats, and has shown us that he gets along very well with his feline roommates.

Although he requires management of his symptoms, Squeaky, with his amazing personality, is surely worth it. He will be a loyal and bonded friend for life, and offer rich and adoring companionship. If you want to have a talk with this special guy, we are sure he would love to meet you! DOB: 2017

Furry Feature of the Week – Frankie!

Meet Frankie! Frankie is a 2-3-year-old Lab mix, weighing in at about 48 pounds of pure sweetness. He came to us from a county shelter and is ready to trade shelter life for a family of his own.

Frankie is a very friendly guy who loves car rides, getting attention, and pretty much anything that involves hanging out with his people. His favorite activities? Sunbathing and being petted. And Frankie has absolutely no problem letting you know when the petting session ends too soon. Stop before he’s ready, and you may get a gentle paw on your hand that says, “Excuse me...we weren’t finished.”

He’s the kind of dog who would happily hop in the car for an adventure, come home and soak up some sunshine, then settle in for some serious cuddle time.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate guy with a little personality (and strong opinions about when the pets should stop), Frankie might be your perfect match!
