🦁 Nemean Lion is as tough as a lion but is more accurately a Nemean Kitten! This soft and sweet little girl has such a gentle soul with an adorable little face to match. She’s the purrfect sidekick, greeting you at the door when you get home, following you from room to room, just to be in your presence, and snuggling up once the opportunity strikes. 🤗

🐱 Nemean Lion has the heart of a kitten. She’s playful and curious, yet somehow, very calm for just being a baby. You truly can have it all with her. She adores kiddos too, making her the best little family cat for almost all ages and families, and she is soooo ready for a family to call her own.😻

🏡 This little lioness currently resides at our fabulous partner, PetVet 365, in Hyde Park Plaza. You can stop by during their business hours to meet her or, if it’s already love at first sight or you have questions about her, you can fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at ohioalleycat.org/adopt to chat, set up a convenient time to meet, and take this wonderful girl straight home. 🐾

🚨 Now Recruiting: TNR Specialist Volunteers!

Help us care for Cincinnati’s community cats—one cat at a time. 🐾 Hey, Norwood! We are focusing on YOUR neighborhood and need your help to make a difference!

As a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing outdoor cat populations humanely. Volunteers assist with humanely trapping cats, transporting, and educating the public—no prior experience needed (we will train you!). These cats will receive their spay/neuter surgeries + vaccines, and will be returned to their exact outdoor home, maintaining their place in the community.

✨ Shifts: 2–4 hours, Sunday mornings, typically between 7-11am, 1-2 Sundays a month

📍 Where: Norwood Neighborhood

🚗 Must have reliable transportation

This role is perfect for those who are passionate about cats, are comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and want to make a real impact behind the scenes.

🐾Kitten Adoptions at PetSmart Today!🐾

The dog days of summer might be over but kitten season is just now warming up!💥

Beginning today, Tuesday 8/12, OAR will have adoptable kittens at the Oakley PetSmart from 5-7pm.

The kittens you meet at PetSmart are just like the ones you meet at OAR; neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and super duper cute!😻

👋 Hellllllo, we have a purrrrfect calico over here! Purry, playful, curious with the most gorgeous patchwork coat, Smashing Pumpkins is a purrfect purring machine ready to fill your home with her happy rumblings. 😸

🐭 She loves to explore everything—including her new home when the time comes, her toy new collection that we’re sure you’ll provide, and the view outside her new window, because as any calico parent knows, it’s their world, we’re just living in it! Smashing Pumpkins is a little light on the cattitude but that just makes her even better. Catnip, little mouse toys, and anything she can chase are her absolute favorites. She’s always up for a good game, but she’s just as talented at catching some z’s. A confident sleeper, she’ll stretch out in the cutest positions, making you smile every time you see her. Whether she’s on an adventure or curled up in dreamland, she’s full of personality and charm. 💤

⚽️🥅 Pawchettino is paws-itively awesome! He loves to bat around balls and toys and the way to his heart is through play. Or food! He’s also quite the fan of treats. He might be an aspiring soccer star but he doesn’t exactly know the rules. Not a good quality in a coach but if MLS allowed players to carry the ball around in their mouth, he’d be MVP! 🥅⚽️

🐱 An adult sized boy but a kitten at heart, Pawchettino is the best of both worlds. He’s a little chatterbox, will charm your socks right off, and cannot wait to get into a home of his own without so many goalies intercepting his playtime! 🥺

🍞🥖 Is anyone willing to let Queen Squishy grace their lap with her presence?? You could be so lucky! After all, winter is eventually coming and she could seriously cut down on your heating bills with all that floof. She’s quite the loaf whether it’s on your lap or a soft, squishy bed. Can’t sit down around these parts without a marshmallow in your lap! 👑👀

🏡 Squishy Baroness is suuuuch a people cat! She just adores watching the world around her while she chills and if you happen to be admiring her while she does it, well, that’s just gravy. Squishy is a bit cat selective and prefers a chiller cat, if any. She’d also love to be your only! She does not like dogs and would prefer a home with more mature children (and adults) who can let her give YOU the affection! Maybe she’s worried someone will mess up her perfectly manicured coat? 🎀
