Crazy Cats Animal Rescue

We are a foster-based cat rescue. All our cats are fully vetted and fostered in our volunteers' homes. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

To help control the population of community cats, we are very active in TNR (trap-neuter-return). The mission of Crazy Cats Animal Rescue is to enrich the lives of communities in Greater Cincinnati by running a no-kill, foster-based, cat rescue, dedicated to finding loving families for homeless cats. All cats are fully vetted and fostered/socialized in loving homes before adoption. We have a 99%+

save rate. You can meet our cats at the Florence, KY Petsmart and Loveland/Symmes, OH Petco. You can read about our cats on Petfinder and Adopt A Pet. To reduce the free-roaming cat population, we actively participate in humane trap-neuter-return programs. At Crazy Cats, we use open communication and trust to match adoptable cats and kittens with devoted, forever homes and our inclusive approach welcomes a diverse community of adopters, which benefits both the cats and their new families.

We took in these two girls yesterday. When we were first contacted, we agreed to help cover their medical needs and provide food, as the person caring for them could no longer afford to. Once we brought them to our vet, it became clear that returning them to that situation wouldn’t be in their best interest. We knew then that the safest and kindest choice was to officially take them in.

Happy New Year from all of us at Crazy Cats Animal Rescue!! We look forward to continuing our success saving sick and injured cats and placing them in Forever Homes, as well as our TNR work. We couldn’t do this without all of you, so to our supporters, thank you for always being there for us. To our volunteers and fosters, thank you for always giving of yourself to help our mission. And to our partner vets, thank you for always going above and beyond because you care about animals as much as we do !! Let’s make this year even more memorable!!!

Frankie, who is the lovely model in our New Year graphic ,came to us back in early November. She was found in someone’s yard, lethargic and not well. She was a feral kitten and had pneumonia which presented challenges, but we're happy to say she’s cleared her pneumonia, is healthy, and will be getting spayed in the next few weeks. She also decided people are kinda good and she loves attention now 😻

We trapped this guy Monday night, at one of our feral colonies we feed. He’s feeling a little under the weather right now. He’s not really eating and his is sleeping a lot. Poor guy is actually very sweet. We had him at our vet yesterday and he’s being treated for an upper respiratory infection, and he was treated for fleas/parasites. Once he’s better he will be fully vetted. We named him Zeke !

Over the last 2 weeks we’ve done 8 amazing adoptions !!! We’re so excited all of these sweet cats found homes for the holidays.

Due to the expected snow and freezing temperatures, our vaccine and wellness clinic has been canceled for this Saturday, 12/13. Keeping pets and people safe comes first. See you in 2026! 🐾💙
