Due to extreme heat the park will be closed until 6 PM, 7/29. Dogs cannot regulate their body heat as well as humans and even though we have fountains the turf traps heat, burning paws and even makes laying down dangerous. We will reopen 6 PM and close as normal at 10 PM. Keep an eye on our Instagram as we navigate midday heat going forward.

We’re truly sorry to share that we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Pride at the Park. Some last-minute circumstances have come up that would impact the quality and enjoyment of the event, and we don’t want to deliver anything less than our best because that’s what our community deserves.

This event has always been our favorite to put on and holds a special place in our hearts, and we know how much it means to many of you. Please know this wasn’t an easy decision.

The good news: Pride at the Park will be back — and better than ever — this October as we join the city in celebrating Chattanooga Pride Week. We can’t wait to make it one to remember.
