Caring for stray animals has always been part of the behind-the-scenes work at Crabtree Farms.

Over the years, we've rescued countless kittens, helped trap and care for feral cats to reduce the growing population, and assisted stray dogs whenever possible. While much of this work happens quietly, it's made possible through the support and partnership of organizations doing incredible work in our community, including , , , and .

If you're looking for a way to make a difference, we encourage you to support these organizations and the life-changing work they do every day.

We're also currently collecting supplies to help us continue caring for the feral cats and stray dogs that find refuge on the farm. If you'd like to help, we've created an Amazon Wishlist with some of our most-needed items.

Thank you for helping us care for the animals that call Crabtree Farms home. ❤️🐾

Join us for the Crabtree Farms Community Book Club a monthly gathering centered around food, land, sustainability, health, and community. 🌱📚

Our discussion takes place June 3 from 5:30–7:30 PM as we explore Bite by Bite by Aimee Nezhukumatathil, a beautiful collection of essays about the memories, emotions, and stories connected to food. Together, we’ll reflect on how food shapes identity, heritage, and connection.

Each month, the book club creates space for thoughtful conversation, seasonal reflection, and meaningful community around the farm table.

Facilitated by Rogelio Cerezo, Director of Development & Administration at Crabtree Farms, this series invites readers of all backgrounds to gather, learn, and connect.

Books are available through the Chattanooga Public Library, and Book & Cover is offering Crabtree Farms Community Book Club members 15% off with code CURIOUSCRB.

Registration is required one week before each gathering. We can’t wait to read with you.

Still thinking about the food from last Saturday’s 100 Dinner at Crabtree Farms 🌿🍽️

An evening filled with incredible farm-fresh food, meaningful conversations, and a community gathered around the table. Every dish highlighted the beauty of locally grown ingredients and the care that goes into bringing food from the farm to your plate.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported local agriculture, and helped make the night so special. We’re grateful to grow alongside this community. 🌻
