Not all wounds are “just a scratch.”

Even small punctures or cuts can trap bacteria beneath the skin and lead to painful infections or abscesses.

Things to monitor:
🩹 Swelling
🩹 Redness
🩹 Drainage
🩹 Limping
🩹 Licking at the area

Please avoid using peroxide repeatedly, as it can delay healing. If your pet has a wound you are concerned about, let us take a look before it becomes a bigger problem.

Ear infections can be extremely uncomfortable and are common this time of year due to allergies, moisture, and swimming.

Signs to watch for:

👂 Red or swollen ears
👂 Odor or discharge
👂 Sensitivity when touched

Please do not use over-the-counter medications without an exam. Some ear issues can worsen if the wrong medication is used.
