A Very Special Delivery is on the Way!

We have some exciting news to share...

Dr. Resh is getting ready to welcome her newest little patient, her own baby! 💙

As she prepares for this incredible new adventure, Dr. Resh will be out on maternity leave from the end of July through early October. We are so excited for her and can't wait to meet the newest member of her family!

If your pet is due for a wellness exam, medication refill, or follow-up visit with Dr. Resh before she heads out, we encourage you to give us a call and get on the schedule soon. While she's away, the rest of our amazing veterinary team will be here to provide the same compassionate care you know and trust.

Please join us in wishing Dr. Resh a wonderful maternity leave filled with snuggles, sweet memories, and as much sleep as a newborn allows. ❤️

Congratulations, Dr. Resh, we'll miss you, but we can't wait to welcome you back this fall!

While you're enjoying the fireworks, burgers, and backyard fun, remember that the holiday can be one of the most stressful days of the year for our pets.

- Keep pets safely indoors.
- Close windows and curtains to help muffle loud noises.
- Skip table scraps that can upset their stomachs.
🏷️-Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date; more pets go missing on the Fourth of July than almost any other day of the year.

We hope you have a safe, fun, and pet-friendly Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

**Is your pet constantly shaking their head or scratching at their ears?**

It might be more than an itch.

Ear infections are one of the most common reasons pets visit the veterinarian, and they can be surprisingly painful.

Watch for signs like:

🔹 Head shaking
🔹 Scratching at the ears
🔹 Redness or swelling
🔹 Unpleasant odor
🔹 Discharge in the ears
🔹 Sensitivity when touched

Many ear infections are caused by allergies, bacteria, yeast, or moisture trapped in the ear canal.

The longer an infection goes untreated, the more uncomfortable your pet becomes and chronic infections can sometimes lead to long-term damage.

If you've noticed any of these signs, we're here to help.

Give us a call at 423-287-5200 to schedule an exam and let us get to the root of the problem.

Because "just dirty ears" aren't always just dirty ears. 🐾❤️

**"But my cat never goes outside..."**

It's one of the most common things we hear.

While indoor cats are protected from many outdoor dangers, they can still develop health conditions that impact their quality of life.

Some of the most common issues we diagnose in indoor cats include:

🦷 Dental disease
⚖️ Obesity
💧 Kidney disease
🦴 Arthritis
❤️ Heart disease
🩺 High blood pressure

The challenge? Cats are masters at hiding discomfort.

Many cats continue eating, sleeping, and acting "normal" even when they're experiencing pain or illness.

That's why regular wellness exams are so important. Early detection often means more treatment options, better outcomes, and a healthier, happier life for your feline friend.

Because indoor doesn't mean risk-free.

When was your cat's last wellness exam?

Will they be:

🥾 Hiking new trails?
❄️ Staying cool at home?
