Our hospital offers emergency surgery, ICU with 24/7 oxygen and fluid therapy, wound treatment, trauma care, blood transfusion, radiation therapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc. Additionally, we have an in-house lab to run and analyze a variety of tests. Our hospital boards a broad range of diagn

ostic tools including ultrasound, echocardiogram, digital radiology, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy and endoscopy. We offer 7 days a week Internal Medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeons, oncologist, neurologist, critical care and 24/7 emergency medicine. Thank you to all of the pawesome dog walkers out there. You all deserve a big round of a-paws for getting our pups out and making our lives so much easier. We appreciate everything you do!

Not only do you give our four-legged family members the exercise they need, but you also provide socialization, mental stimulation, and—most importantly—peace of mind for us pet parents.

🌽 Aw Shucks! A Corn Cob Conundrum 🌽

A reminder to all of our pet parents to keep a close eye on your pups when serving corn on the cob at your next barbecue. While it's a tasty treat for you, it can be dangerous for them. Corn cobs can be a choking hazard, cause intestinal blockages and other internal damage.

This week, our “a-maize-ing” Internal Medicine Team helped a pup who had ingested a portion of a cob. Thankfully, they were able to remove it safely via endoscopy — but not all pets are so lucky.

🎸🐾 Hi, I’m Pepper — proud rockstar patient at VCSG! 🌟

I had surgery on both of my back legs (ouch!) and have a condition that makes my muscles and tendons angry. Luckily, I get to hang out with the amazing Rehab Team at VCSG to help me feel my best! 🐶❤️

Wondering what treatments I get? Here's the list: underwater treadmill, laser shockwave, TENS and PEMF therapy. Plus, I get nonstop snuggles, love, and treats while I heal like a champ. Thanks to all this, I’m feeling paws-itively awesome!!

🩸🐾 MEET KIWI: FURRY HERO ON A MISSION! 🐾🩸

This weekend, sweet Kiwi stepped up in a BIG way! 🐱💪 She did an emergency donation for a local hospital to help save a fellow feline in crisis. Why? Because Kiwi is a B-type blood donor—a rare blood type in cats, and that means she's part of a very exclusive hero club. 🦸‍♀️💉

With blood supply for B-type kitties dangerously low, Kiwi didn't hesitate to lend a paw. Her donation could mean the difference between life and loss for another cat in need. ❤️

But don't worry—after her lifesaving mission, Kiwi was pampered like the queen she is. 👑 She even got to pick out a brand new toy! After some serious sniffing and contemplation, she proudly chose a little black cat toy pal to take home. 🖤🐈‍⬛ (We think she saw a little bit of herself in it!)

Type B is RARE, especially in some breeds.
Emergency transfusions save lives, and donor cats like Kiwi are real heroes!
