🦷 August Dental Special! 🐾

Healthy teeth mean a healthier pet! During the month of August, enjoy $25 OFF your pet’s dental cleaning.

Dental disease doesn’t just cause bad breath—it can lead to pain, tooth loss, and bacteria that may affect the heart, liver, and kidneys. Many pets hide signs of dental pain, so regular cleanings are one of the best ways to keep them healthy and comfortable.

Signs your pet may need a dental cleaning:
🦷 Bad breath
🦷 Yellow or brown tartar buildup
🦷 Red or bleeding gums
🦷 Difficulty chewing
🦷 Pawing at the mouth

Give us a call to schedule your pet’s dental cleaning and take advantage of this August special before it ends!

📞 Appointments fill quickly, so don’t wait!

🐱 A Day in the Life of a Clinic Cat 🩺

☀️ Clock in and supervise the staff.
💻 Walk across the keyboard while someone is scheduling appointments.
👀 Judge everyone from the front desk.
🛏️ Take a well-deserved 4-hour nap.
🐾 Inspect every box that comes through the door.
💉 “Assist” with patient care from a safe distance.
🍗 Demand treats as payment for hard work.
🌙 Clock out… exhausted from doing absolutely everything.

Being the clinic cat is a full-time job, and someone has to keep this place running! 😸

🇺🇸🎆 Fourth of July Pet Safety Tips 🐾

The Fourth of July can be one of the most stressful days of the year for pets. Keep them safe with these simple tips:

🎇 Keep pets indoors during fireworks.
🏷️ Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags/microchip information are up to date.
🚪 Close windows, doors, and gates to prevent escape.
🎶 Turn on the TV, radio, or a fan to help drown out fireworks.
🍔 Keep barbecue foods, alcohol, chocolate, grapes/raisins, onions, and xylitol-containing foods away from pets.
💥 Never use fireworks around pets, even sparklers—they can cause serious burns and injuries.
💊 If your pet needs calming medication, give it exactly as directed by your veterinarian.
❤️ Provide a quiet, comfortable “safe space” where your pet can relax.

A little preparation can make a big difference. We hope you and your furry family have a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🐶🐱

Hello everyone! This is Dr. G. I just wanted to come on here and say a gigantic thank you to you all, the clients, for being so accommodating these past couple weeks so I could be with my son. His surgery last week went better than we could have possibly anticipated. The recovery however has been much harder than we expected, even including an ER visit Monday which prompted me taking more time off. I cannot thank the clients enough that were so understanding Monday when I was having to field phone calls during appointments which also delayed appointments a bit. I truly feel we have the best clients possible. I am learning the true meaning of “village.”
I also cannot leave out another part of my village, my staff and associate vets. You all knew what I needed before I did and advocated for me to myself. You gave me the kick in the pants to do what I needed to do for my son as well as myself. I love you all big time.
My son has turned a corner and has done amazingly well lately so I feel confident to return to work next week, and much looking forward to it. The recovery is still ongoing for several more weeks so keep those prayers and happy thoughts coming because we definitely feel them ❤️

PS: Maddox sends out his thank you too!

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Dr. G will be out for the remainder of the week to focus on her son’s recovery, which has been more challenging than expected. Our team is doing everything we can to accommodate appointments and continue providing the best care for your pets during her absence.

Thank you for bearing with us and for keeping Dr. G’s family in your thoughts as they navigate this time. ❤️
