We are looking into hosting a possible rabbit vaccine clinic in July in the Seattle area โ€” but we need enough interest to make it happen!

Rabbit vaccines can help protect against serious and deadly diseases, and we would love to help make this more accessible for our bunny community.

Meet Suzie Q!

She came to us in terrible condition โ€” beat up, exhausted, and suffering from a severe case of ear mites. We started treatment immediately, hoping to help her finally feel safe and cared for. Then, just a few days later, on Motherโ€™s Day, she surprised us all by bringing 9 tiny babies into the world!

We carefully brought the babies out briefly to count them (all 9!) and give them a quick medical check before tucking them back into their warm, cozy nest with mom. After feeding all of those hungry little ones, Suzie Q finally stretched out to relax and eat a well-deserved meal herself.

Our big hope of finding Mr. B. the perfect family has finally come true!!

"He is a perfect addition to our family!! He has fitted in seamlessly no issues at all! He hasnโ€™t caused any destruction but heโ€™s been pretty busy exploring his new place and the kids have been in there loving him and every time they stop he gives them nudges to continue the pets. Thank you so much for giving us our new nest buddy!"

Just wanted to highlight the cutest thing about this interaction:
The mom wanted to make sure she could pick him up, and he just relaxed in her arms ๐Ÿ˜ญ The lttle boy (who is around 6 or so) came up petted him, and at the end he held his tail, and Mr B didn't even care ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Every year the amazing volunteers of (an organization that takes care of the fruit trees on public property and gives the harvested food to food banks!) does a massive pruning project to keep the trees healthy.

Their volunteers take the time to bag up the thin branches for our bunnies! This year we got SO MANY!

If you are in the Seattle or Greater Seattle area, PLEASE come help yourself!

1. Location is as follows: 5216 Green Lake Way North Seattle, WA 98103. A big purple house with a big rockery around it. Park on 53rd St and you will see the bench with the branches on it!

2. Bring a bag or box and highly recommend bringing some pruning shears because these are MUCH easier to manage when you trim them down to smaller pieces

3. Take a bag or box with you! Please donโ€™t leave a mess!

4. Yes, the moss on the branches is safe for buns to eat!

5. Extra credit to anyone who can spend some time trimming these to smaller pieces for the bunnies at the shelter! 6-12 inches is perfect.
