🌼 Wildcrafting some herbal sticks for the upcoming pop-up shop taking place at Studio Beju in Duvall, WA next month (details are on my page)! These floral sticks contain herbs and flowers from around our farm, including yarrow, calendula, goldenrod, sage, rosemary, wild aster, and lavender. They smell amazing too! 😊

We got our tomato, dahlia, and melon area set up this afternoon before the rain started again and have another ~60ish plants to go. I may not be able to eat tomatoes, but they are a joy to grow 🍅😊

Y'all, I CAUGHT A SWARM!
I was in the beeyard this morning doing an inspection of the hives and was suddenly surrounded by a large swarm that had flown in (at first I panicked thinking they were one of mine). If you've never experienced a swarm before, the energy and jubilation is simply magical!

They moved into one of the empty overwintered hives and I'm so honoured to welcome them to their new home 🐝❤️

We're all snowed and iced in here at the farm after record-breaking temperature drops this week. That's okay, though. We're all cozied up and enjoying some much-needed down time. Happy holidays! ❄️🎄😊

We've been busy all month hacking out blackberry roots and runners in the orchard and vinyard. Some of the trees were so badly covered from years of neglect that we couldn't even see apple blossoms when we started! Fortunately, these beautiful trees are hardy and with the blackberries gone they can start to heal and thrive again 🍎♥️
