*Clinic at Two Mountains Farm* Jennie Saville(Brannigan) August 19-20

Jennie Brannigan is a successful alumna of the Young Riders program, having won team and individual gold at the 2008 NAYC for eventing with her KWPN gelding, Cooper. She had her first completion at the top level of the sport in 2015 at the Kentucky Three-Day Event with Cambalda. In 2021, she finished in fourth place overall at the Maryland 5 Star CCI5* with Stella Artois.

Brannigan has represented the U.S. Eventing Team at Boekelo, The Netherlands, competing in the CCIO3* in 2012 with Cambalda, the CCIO4*-L with Stella Artois in 2019, and the CCIO4*-L in 2021 with FE Lifestyle.

Recent top results for Brannigan include a third-place finish in the CCI4*-L at The Event at Rebecca Farm in 2021, a second-place at the CCI4*-S at Stable View in 2022, and a win in the CCI4*-L at Bromont in June of 2022, all with her own Thoroughbred gelding, Twilightslastgleam.

Aspen Farms Horse Trials 2022 was a show to remember, what Jon and Suzy did to be able to run this event safely I was incredible and we are so grateful to have been able to get out! Kelsey and Amy Halbakken’s Cute Casalita won the Open Training and Kelsey on Kiri Farler Smith’s Ashwood Just Right finished 3rd in the Open Novice. Maris Burns competed Tovi Noel’s Bayley, finishing top 10 in her first event. Braiden Nicole finished 4th in BN on Sophia Milan’s Singularity, this little green bean is growing up! Mandy Collins finished 6th on Lilli Thiel’s Vatino in the BN, Kiri Farler Smith rode Amy Grant’s Cupids Arrow, finishing her first BN event. Thanks to all the volunteers and course designers who worked all weekend and of course our team of riders/owners who helped us wrangle our horses and children! ❤️

Next Phase had a super event this weekend at EIHT. Kelsey and Amy Halbakken’s Cute Casalita finished 2nd in the Open Training, Kelsey on Kiri Farler Smith’s Ashwood Just Right won the Open Novice, and Mandy Collins finished 2nd in her first event on Vatino! Maris competed Alyssa Darby’s mare Raffina in her first event and the young mare was fabulous. Kiri Farler Smith rode Amy Grant’s mare Cupid in her first event ever and she clearly loved the job ☺️ Braiden Ludtka rode Sophia Milan’s pony Bo and learned that he loves the jumping and despises the camera men 😂 Natalie Barlow and Sarah Bhueler moved up a level, had some great successes and also came away with homework! Clare Chapple and Amelia Linneman competed in the Beginning Novice and showed growth in so many areas, also learning about the ups and downs in our tough sport! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to show at this venue and want to thank all the volunteers who make it happen!

A HUGE congratulations to the small but mighty Next Phase crew who competed at Spokane Sporthorse this weekend. Most exciting was Amelia Linneman who competed in her first ever recognized event on her horse Re*****on Steele and WON! She has worked so hard forming a partnership with this horse over the past few months and it paid off. Sarah Buehler also competed in her first event on her new horse Athens and placed 7th! Natalie Barlow had a solid first event of the season on Harry with two clear jump rounds and a 10th place finish. 😊 Thanks to Brooke Lacy and Sarah Lawrence for stepping in to coach at the event and our home dressage coach Kristin O’Hearn for getting the team prancing. Can’t wait for EI!

Fabulous showing at EIHT this past weekend! Maris Burns won the Open Novice on Kiri Farler-Smith’s AM Just Right after just a couple rides together. Natalie Barlow won the Junior Novice on her new partner Wish I Am. Cute Casalita completed her 2nd prelim with Kelsey Devoille, finishing with a double clear SJ. Hana Morris finished 4th on Lilli Thiel’s Tino. Clare Chapple finished 8th in Beginning Novice in her very first recognized event on her horse Perry. Sarah Bhueler had two fabulous jump phases and Theresa and Flynn finished their first show in years without a jump fault.
