This is a dog located here in town that is in need for DESPERATE foster OR Adoption:
Marsha Mawer-Olson is the current owner, this is her description of the pup and what’s going on.
I have a pup that I desperately need to rehome. Divorce has left me trying to care for a puppy by myself. I work full time, I have a young child and I need to care for my mom who has terminal cancer. I have no capacity to care for the dog. I have to go down to Stanford CA on the 26th to take my mom to her surgery, then care for her post surgery.
I have had our dog posted on Home-home and Rehome, I’ve been posting on FB groups through the Snoqualmie valley, reached out to other dog community members and there are no leads! I have applied to surrender her to Seattle Humane, but they say they are booked for intakes for a month out.
At this point, I am desperately seeking a solution for our dog. I need to find a solution this week!
Mazy is a 1 year old Husky, Pit, Staffordshire, Malamute mix bread. She is healthy and up to date on vaccines. She is high energy, high drive, over 50 lbs, pulls/lunges/jumps. She is highly food motivated and knows several commands but doesn’t usually obey. She is kennel trained and potty trained and sleeps well through the night. Alarm barks and whines if we she wants attention. Mostly quiet though. Plays well with one other dog, not sure how she would do with multiple dogs. She is very sweet, just a handful and too much for me.
