🐾 Furry Friend Feature: Scout 🐾

That beard. Those eyes. That little pink tongue... 😍🐶

Meet Scout, a sweet Mini Schnauzer who wasn’t feeling his best and stopped by PetWellClinic Highland Park for a checkup! 💙

Minor illnesses don’t wait for an opening on the schedule — which is exactly why we’re here. When something seems off with your pet, you can walk in the same day and get answers without a long wait.

Thank you to Scout’s family for bringing him in. Feel better soon, handsome! 🐾

Pet not acting like themselves? Walk in and let us take a look.

🎃 Tips to have a safe and happy Halloween! 👻 (swipe ➡️)

Halloween is a blast for us — but it can be a stressful, and sometimes dangerous, night for pets. A little prep goes a long way. 🐾

🍫 Candy — Chocolate and sugar-free candy (xylitol) can be toxic to pets. Keep candy bowls out of reach, pick up wrappers, and make sure trick-or-treat bags are secured. Wrappers cause just as many problems as the candy itself.

🚪 The door — Constant doorbell ringing and a stream of strangers is a lot for any pet. Set them up with a safe, comfortable space away from the front door, and make sure that microchip info is current before the big night.

🕯️ Decorations — Candles, open flames, electrical cords, and small decorations are all tempting to curious pets. Keep them out of paw’s reach.

🐱 Costumes — If your pet wears one, it should let them breathe comfortably, move freely, and see and hear clearly. If they seem miserable in it, a festive bandana works just as well.

Have a safe and happy Halloween from all of us at PetWellClinic Highland Park! 💙
