We are very excited to announce we have been invited by our friends from Standard Title - Baton Rouge and Ann Matassa NMLS 357226- Movement Mortgage to hold an adoption and fundraising event at 9026 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, on Sun, 11/14, from 11am-3pm. We'll have jambalaya cooked onsite, grilled hot dogs with homemade chili, fresh baked goods--cookies, brownies, cupcakes, soft drinks, and sugary sweet confections from our favorite Cotton Candy Man! We will have door prizes, a photo booth for family pics so bring your pups, balloons for the kiddos, t-shirts, arts and crafts, and of course, we'll have the most adorable, ADOPTABLE dogs in town! A couple of our sister rescues, Cajun Tails Rescue and Must Luv Dogs Rescue, will join us and will have their precious pups looking for their forever homes too. We are also fortunate to have Mary with Cali’s Closet setting up her booth with creative designs, bandanas, dog clothes and more--for pets and their owners. We could use some volunteers to work if you're interested. It's lots of fun and so rewarding. But even if you're not available to volunteer, we hope to see you there! Please mark your calendars and plan to bring your kids and your pups with you for a wonderful day of good food and good fun for a great cause!
