April 28th at 830am: 2-3 Small dogs 10- 25lbs
April 30th at 830am: 2-3 cats

The Ultrasound itself is FREE; all you would have to pay for is the sedation drugs used (REQUIRED) and, if your pet is over 7 years old, Pre-Bloodwork. Please give us a call at 706-353-2696 to get scheduled!

• During this training, SEDATION IS REQUIRED per the training company. Every pet used will HAVE to be sedated & the area shaved in preparation.

Doctor Legato & our Lead Technician Reagan have officially become certified in abdominal ultrasounds!! 🎉

Huge congratulations to them 🥳

We need…

April 23rd drop off at 830am:
2-3 Large dogs 50- 70lbs

April 28th drop off at 8:30am:
2-3 Small dogs 10- 25lbs

April 30th drop off at 8:30am:
2-3 cats

May 5th drop off at 8:30am:

Getting your animal spayed or neutered is a great way to keep the likelihood of associated cancers low as well as keep the number of feral populations down! 💖

Did you know we have a low cost spay and neuter program along with our high capacity spay/neuter work with Athens Pets, Athens Clarke County Animal Shelter, Odd Paws Rescue, and Campus Cats!

In order to help keep these costs low, however, we wanted to turn to our community and ask if you’d be kind enough to donate any of the following items:

Towels/blankets 🧶
Baby food 🫙- a bit of a weird request..right? After coming out of surgery, puppies and kittens need food to keep their energy at good levels and promote healing—especially since they can’t eat before surgery!
Baby socks 🧦- our furry friends get cold during and coming out of surgery! Anesthesia slows down our body’s ability to thermoregulate, but baby socks ensure their feet will hold warmth!
Karo syrup 🍯
Small laundry baskets 🧺
Metal dog kennels 🐶 - because we perform spays and neuters at such high capacity—we need space to hold our patients when they recover from anesthesia! If you have one you do not use we would really appreciate the gesture!
Laundry detergent 🫧
Peanut butter 🥜
Long pretzel sticks 🥨 - something to lick while being sedated with a premed helps our patients to redirect that nervous energy.
Hard heating pads 🔥
Rice 🍚 - know how I mentioned earlier our patients can’t thermoregulate well while under anesthesia? We use long socks filled with rice that are then heated to help warm our patients up and keep them warm when they can’t do it themselves!
Long socks 🧦
Bleach/detergent 🧼
Litter 🐱
Cat carriers 🐱
Slip leads 🪢
Spray cheese 🧀
