We are about to begin the first phase of replacing the Haven, the rescue building. To create more time for me to do what must be done, we changed hours so we are available only in the afternoon for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In the mornings, the staff was attempting to answer the phones as well as get all the rescue animals cared for in an appropriate time. With the numbers of calls coming in, things were problematic.

So in an effort to decrease the chaos here, if there is time available in the morning to answer, we will, but if staff is not available to answer, we ask that you leave a message and we will call you back asap when we can.

This coming week at Colbert Animal Hospital,LLC, there is going to be the start of a transition. With all the work that will need to be done in the Haven,this week we will honor the morning appointments already made. Beginning next week, available hours will be in the afternoons only. Our appointment schedule will be as follows:

Monday 12-5
Tuesday. 12-5
Thursday 12-5
Friday 12-5

Things may change and we will do our best to meet needs. Please work with us. This is what we feel needs to happen.

Dear pet parents,

Our team at Colbert Animal Hospital will be closed the week of Christmas, from December 23rd to December 27th, to give Dr. Andrews and the entire staff a much-needed rest after a busy year of caring for your furry friends. We’ll be back and ready to serve you on December 30th. During this time, we will be open for tech appointments/medication pickups only on December 26th.

We truly appreciate your support and trust in us throughout the year, and we hope you and your pets have a wonderful, safe holiday season!
