This week we hosted the New Zealand and Australian Hoof Trimmers Association Conference and on-farm day. Our vet Krispin, also shared some insights into lameness and the use of collars alongside Herd-i. Our vets then enjoyed a morning out on-farm learning from the best in the industry. It's always great to collaborate with other professions within the vet industry!

🚨 Tail Damage in Dairy Cattle – Final Study Phase Underway! Your Views Matter!🐄

Over the last few years, a major NZ-wide study (funded by the Sustainable Food & Fibre Futures Fund) has looked into tail damage in dairy cows—with many of our FarmFirst clients playing a key role.

Now in its final phase, the study is comparing farmer opinions in 2025 vs 2021 to track progress in understanding. Tail welfare matters—and your voice helps shape better outcomes.
