🐾 BARKFEST CAMBRIDGE – ONE MORE SLEEP! 🐾
The wait is almost over! Tomorrow we're taking over Lake Te Koo Utu for Barkfest – The Ultimate Doggy Day Out! 🐶🎉
Before you grab the lead, here's everything you need to know.
📅 Sunday 1 November 2026
⏰ 10am – 3pm
📍 Lake Te Koo Utu, Cambridge
🎟️ FREE ENTRY!
🐕 BRINGING YOUR DOG?
We obviously love dogs, but we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable day!
🐾 Dogs must be on a lead and under control at all times.
🐾 Please clean up after your dog – help us keep our beautiful venue looking great.
🐾 Be mindful of other dogs and people. Not every dog wants to say hello!
🐾 If your dog is anxious, reactive, unwell or uncomfortable in busy environments, please consider leaving them at home.
❤️ NO DOG? NO PROBLEM!
You absolutely do NOT need to bring a dog to enjoy Barkfest! In fact, we'd love you to come along whether you're a dog owner, dog lover or just looking for a fantastic FREE day out. There will be plenty of dogs to admire, entertainment to enjoy and stalls to explore!
🚗 PARKING & GETTING THERE
Parking around the venue will be busy, so please allow a little extra time to find a park and walk to the event.
The park carpark is closed (there is limited accessibility parking located here).
There are multiple ways to access Lake Te Koo Utu by foot. The Albert Street end will likely be very busy, so consider parking on Thornton Road level and walking down one of the track arms.
Take extra care if you are crossing Albert Street as this is a busy road.
Be considerate of local residents, businesses, driveways and parking restrictions.
🏆 COMPETITIONS
Enter on the day for all the free competitions. Head to the show ring to put your name on the list. Competitions are limited so get in early!
⚠️ DOG DASH REMINDER: We have closed the Dog Dash entries and there will be NO entries accepted on the day.
🛍️ SO MUCH TO SEE & DO!
With over 50 fantastic stallholders, food and coffee, doggy treats, shopping, entertainment and free photo opportunities, there's something for everyone!
☀️ THE WEATHER IS LOOKING GOOD!
The forecast is for a beautiful dry day, with sunshine in the morning, some cloud developing later and temperatures reaching around 17°C. Perfect weather for a day out with the dogs! Bring your sunscreen and a jacket for the cooler morning.
💚 A FEW FINAL REMINDERS
