He was brought into us with a very sore leg, suspected to be severely fractured, but it was only after x-rays were taken that we saw the grisly injury.
Storm had been shot through the humerus, creating a severely fragmented fracture; we can only imagine the pain he was in.
He needed surgery, the sooner the better. However, unable to afford treatment but desperate for him to be OK, his owners did what they could for him and surrendered him to our care. And so the chain continued, and we contacted CARE to help save this sweet little boy.
Lifesavers! Quite literally!
