They grow and change so quickly.

These little guys were 3 weeks old on Thursday 🥰
Eyes opened about a week ago, so they are starting to explore a little😍
They are all weighing around 1kg now😮
Time goes so quickly and they grow so fast 🙄

Dr BECKY MURPHY is doing a clinic at TDTC club rooms on 27 August, see flier below.

We are currently in negotiations to have
Dr PETRA PRICE attend on the same day for a Canine EYE clinic, but this is numbers dependant. Please DM me if you are interested in an eye appointment, so they can assess the interest level.

On 26 June the Piwakawaka family had some special additions 😮💕 This is our 2nd & FINAL 2025 litter.

This is Dam, Primrose's 2nd litter- she is 5 years old this month.
The Sire is our handsome NZ Champion, Viewlands Walking Moose.

Both mum & dad are fully health tested- DNA clear for Episodic Falling, Curly Coat/Dry Eye and Degenerative Myelopathy. Plus current Specialist vet certs for heart & eyes & patella certs. The pups will be listed on the DOGSNZ (NZ Kennel Club) pedigree litter page within the next few days.

Primrose is doing an AMAZING job, with all pups whelped between 255-260gm and at today's weigh-in are between 600-700gm😍 We have three Tricolours and two Blenheims, which will go to their 'Furever Homes' at 10 wks, just in time for Spring 🥰

BIG day yesterday for the puppers.

Up at 5am for a 3 1/2 hr drive to the Specialist Heart & Eye vet clinic to get the dogs their annual 'Warrant of Fitness' 😉
So important to know that they are healthy and meet the DOGSNZ (NZ Kennel Club) regulations to register Pedigree puppy litters.

Always planning and looking towards future generations which are in excellent health & better 'Form' than previous generations.

Tired puppers when got home about 6pm.

It's been a very eventful week here at Piwakawaka Ridge.
Pups have embarked on their big journeys with their furever families.
Grandad Bentley has also come to stay for a few days while our daughter is away.

Piwakawaka Pups were 9 weeks old yesterday😮
Their pedigree names will be Piwakawaka:
Midnight Mist
Raven's Sonata
Copper Sunset
Autumn Rose
Rusty R'flexn

The pups time as a litter with me is almost over😥
They are all so fluffy, and chubby & sociable😍🥰
I know the ones who are going to special adoptive families will be absolutely adored & spoilt.
I will do my best with those to be show dogs, and keep you updated on their puppy milestones and successes.

Our beautiful wee Piwakawaka /Azzaro pups are now 8 weeks old. Time has flown by.
They had a BIG adventure last weekend going to a Show to have a critique by show friends.
As we expected they are all beautiful 😉😁

Then another big day going to the vet for their 8 week vaccination, microchip, general checkover and heart & patella check. All pups are now over 2kg & all passed with flying colours. The vets also thought they were gorgeous (But we knew that already 😍)

Only two more weeks and some will head off to their furever families, and a couple will start their 'careers' on the show circuit....

Pups will be 7 wks old tomorrow 😮
I honestly don't know where the time goes 🙄
They have moved into a bigger pen area inside the door so it's easier to let them in & out. It has been a bit cold & wet lately, but they still enjoyed having a play with Aunty Primrose and cousins Aurora & Finn.
They are all doing really well eating their solids and have all gained at least 250gm over the last week.
I will be booking in their 8wk vet check, vaccination, heart & patella check and microchip for next week.
So hard to believe that it's only 3 weeks until they will be heading off to their 'Furever Families'
